I recently had a brand new roof installed by Augusto Roofing and it is the best looking roof in my neighborhood and far beyond. The crew worked hard and like a "marching band" where every move had a purpose and confidence. They were all very professional, respectful and gracious. I can’t say enough how impressed I am with John Augusto and his team. Thank you ALL , the pride of your work shows beautifully!

From the initial contact to the completion of the job was less than a week. They worked us in because the property was being sold. They were professional, pleasant and willing to take on a small job when so many others didn't even want to bother. Sincerely appreciate the way this was handled. Would definitely call them again!!

Augusto roofing came when they said they would to give me an estimate and were very professional. The owner, John Agusto, came personally which I really appreciated. The price they quoted was the price I paid and was very fair. I received other bids that were close in cost but Augusto's price included several things the others called upgrades. They started the job and ended the job when they said they would. John was also very helpful in filling out the paperwork for insurance discounts due to the wind mitigation work they did. I would recommend Augusto roofing.

From initial inspection through final clean-up, Augusto was absolutely superb. The owner, John Augusto, did the initial visit/estimate himself and I was immediately impressed with his professional demeanor, candor and his detailed summary of the required work. He was also on-site everyday of the project, closely overseeing his crew, checking their work, and toiling alongside the team himself. They cleaned as they went along and always kept the work area and roadways neat and safe. Several times during the project, Mr. Augusto invited me up onto the work area to observe the effort and to point out the extent of the required wood replacement; he kept me informed throughout on their milestones and progress. Their process was efficient and well-practiced, so that when the shingler team arrived on day 3, they were able to start early and finish early. The shingler team, Carlos and his wife Modesta, did a beautiful job; Carlos has been shingling for 18 years and I would rate him as a Master Craftsman. The work passed code inspection easily. Across the board, terrific work by a skilled and disciplined team of people who clearly know what they're doing. Also especially noteworthy in this effort was the Augusto Roofing front office staff. They were responsive, polite, punctual and kept me apprised every step of the way, and were quick to send and complete all the required paperwork. Very, very positive experience for me and I would recommend them to others, without hesitation.

Incredible company with professional crew members. The job was professionally done, completed in a timely manner, the owner John is fantastic to work with, and his crew was very professional at all times. This is a good company to work with if you are in the market to get your roof replaced/repaired.

Augusto Roofing was brought to our attention by a friend who recently had their roof installed by Augusto. After comparing Augusto' s rankings on Angie's List and The Better Business Bureau, coupled with other peoples recommendations, we decided to meet with him. Although not the lowest price, the association decided to award the job to Augusto based on the many positive statements made about the quality of his work. His roofing team always projected what would be completed that day, and kept to schedule. All of the home owners here in Bldg. 21 do indeed highly recommend Augusto Roofing.

We consider ourselves extremely lucky that we found Augusto roofing.We had water leaking into the kitchen ceiling and on a recommendation called a company who came one afternoon and were told we needed a new roof and that was the last we heard despite knowing that bad weather was in the forecast. We had had a new roof installed a few years previously and they were no longer in business. In fact we had dealings with three different roofing companies. No comment on them!!!!!
I can't remember exactly how I came across John Augusto but thank goodness I did.When I called and explained the situation he sent someone out within a couple of hours to look at the problem and the roofer advised us on all the problems he had found and then he put a tarp on whether we used their Company or not as bad weather was coming. The following day John came out and explained what had been found, as well as the bad leak the tiles weren't secure,( in fact once they started on the job they could just sweep them off the roof).We were very impressed by his knowledge, his efficiency, his thoughtfulness and his great personality. He explained what would be done and then came back later with roof samples and we signed the contract.
I can't praise both John and his team highly enough, they worked each day with no loud music playing :) until dark with John up there on the roof with them most of the time. John even came out the following day after the job was finished which was a Sunday just to check on everything. We were extremely impressed also that after they had finished there was absolutely no cleaning up to be done on our part, no damage to any plants etc. and they had even gone over the grass with a magnet to pick up any nails etc.that were laying around. All in all from start to finish I can't praise this company highly enough and would recommend them to everyone. John believes that if a job is worth doing it is worth doing right and he certainly did this.

Other than John not being on the site during the entire work, everything was good from start to finish.
A year later we did contact John on follow up paperwork for the state of Florida, he never got back to us so we ended up hiring another firm to come out and certify the roof work. Disappointed John's follow up a year later didn't come thru, but we had a deadline to meet and wasn't going to chase him down for the completed paper work.

"Not an excuse, but had sciatic issues as this job progressed. Customer was unmoved although my crew is quite competent and customer cannot and did not dispute this. Anger was generated as I did not respond quickly to a request for insurance forms which technically are not connected with performance of job or warranty issues. Was on the job enough to have video taken during process for advertising as well as quality documentation. Re sheathed entire roof with pressure treated plywood at customers request and did all necessary inspections and permit requirements enough to close out job. To this day no requests for service due to installation errors or materials performance."

Informing John exactly what you want goes a long way to satisfaction. Such as: color and type of shingles, color of facia trim, retain cupola or remove it completely. It mentioned in the contract about vibrations from hammering etc. I forgot to take down "knicknacks" on wall shelving and one item vibrated to the floor. Definitely my fault. I quickly removed the rest of them after one did fall.

"While looking at this review, I looked through my records and saw that this was the time period that I was having trouble with my sciatic nerve in my back. While I am usually on the job around 80% of the time, I was not able to be, however I remember this customer asked that we add new pressure treated sheathing to his roof which I was there for comprising about 2 days worth of the work, so I would dispute that claim that I was not on the job and can prove it as my web company was there taking videos and I am in all of them. My shingle men are responsible for the actual application of the work allowing me to have total accountability when and after the roof is installed, and I come to the job at least once a day unless something prevents me from doing so. In this case it was my back problem. All one needs to do is look at most of the other reviews and see that all categories are given an A rating. I am not happy about getting a less than stellar recommendation, but I will take their comments to heart and strive to do better."

Another larger contractor had been hired to replace an old skylight in our bathroom area that had cracked. Several months later in the midst of storm season we thought that we had a roof leak in the same area. Dissatisfied with the prior company we contacted Augusto who recognized the problem and fixed it.

See above comments. This is an excellent roofer that is fair in his price and does above a standard roofing job. He would rather use a better quality material to achieve a better result for the customer. John Augusto is honest and I will definitely use him again. This was the best experience I have ever had with a roofing contractor. His men were on the job day after day until the job was done. Thank you John.

They were excellent. Whenever you do anything over $2500, the state of Florida puts a lean on your home. I had to remind them to resubmit the paperwork to get the lean off of my home. He was clean, he did neat work, the pricing was excellent, and when I came home I didn't even know he had been there. He took a bit longer to do the work than he said it would. That was because it rained a lot that year, and he refused to compromise the quality of his work for time, which I really appreciated.

Mr. John Augusto began by being punctual with his quote and rapid with his estimate. He applied for all required permitting in a timely manner. The crew showed up on the promised day to start the work. The crew worked tirelessly, never leaving the job site at night until everything was cleaned up. They were very careful about the roofing nails, making sure we did not pull into the driveway until they had used a large magnet to sweep for nails. All work was completed per the contract. Our roof is complicated, and Mr. Augusto had a creative solution to improve the drainage. The resulting roof is beautiful. We get many compliments from our neighbors.
