AT LAST AIR CONDITIONING & HEATING SERVICE

We thought we're having a leak from the water heater coming to find out it was from the air conditioner handler. I wanted somebody out there right away because we're having water all over the garage. I got him from Angie's List and he came right out. He showed me what he did and he told me to do it once every six months. He showed me what was wrong and he fixed it.

They worked most of a day taking out the old system and installing a new system.  No mess.  As quoted and on time as promised.  Highly recommend this dealer.

Called for bid on work. Upon selecting company to do work they were there within 3 days, permits and materials in hand.
Started and completed job with in 3 days and provided for all city inspections and paperwork for Progress Energy Rebates.
Kept me in loop as to what was being done and how.  Tradesmen left debris to clean up but their workmanship was
excellent.  I would highly recommend this company for their work and pricing.

He was very efficient and did the work well. He looked at my ductwork and made recommendations. I was very pleased. He was also very clean cut and polite and professional.

He worked between rain showers to fix my unit. Owner made several trips this morning to accomplish this.His price was fair for services.

I cam home on late Saturday afternoon to find that my condo was very hot. I went to Angie's List to find a reputable A/C repair service. I telephoned 5 and quot;Aand quot; listed companies. At. Last was the ONLY company to return my call. They called back in approximately 30 minutes.Due to the late hou they were unable to come out and check my unit that day, but promised they would be there promply Sunday morning@ 9:00AM. True to their word the owner arrived on Sunday. Worked for approximately 1 1/2 - 2 hours, but could not repair the unit. (This was the unit (handler and compressor etc) that was in my condo when I purchased it 14 years ago.) He said that he would be able to replace all parts the next morning. They arrived at the time on Monday morning and by Monday afternoon I was cool again. The 2 men who cam out to do the job were courteous, cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. The owner who came out on Sunday, returned on Monday to check the job his workers did before they left and I paid them.

I would recommed At. Last A/C and Heating to anyone because of the service I received. The other companies NEVER called me.

They were prompt but I did not use the service. They were honest but a little expensive for what I needed done. Their recommendation was to replace versus repair. If you are looking to hire this company, they seem to be reputable, prompt and have the materials on hand. I just could not afford them. They are pricey. To me, it would have been a better selling feature had they said it will be x amount of dollars to repair now, with a look of some many years down the road to replace.

My A/C shut off on a Sunday in August. Needless to say, I was not happy. I called a few places before I came upon At Last Air Conditioning. The other companies were going to charge me an arm and leg to do a service call on a Sunday. When I called At Last, the person that answered the phone was very nice and professional and got someone to come out just a few hours after my call. My service man was very nice and professional and he did not charge me extra for the "emergency" call. Overall, I received good service and my A/C continues to run without problems. The only thing that leaves me a little perplexed is the fact that I needed a new thermostat when my house is only three years old. I also the price for the thermostat and install was a bit expensive ($250), and the thermostat wasn't as nice as the one I had; less options. Overall, my experience was very good and I would use this company again.

Blower unit on my AC created a puddle in the garage. Called Al on Saturday morning and he came out around 1 to service it. He first fixed the relay switch for the blower, then added freon. He advised me that the unit is very old and has multiple problems, including freon leaks, mold, corrosion. He recommends replacing it rather than further service since it is in such poor condition. I will likely have another estimate for replacement before contracting the work, but will certainly consider working with Al again. He seems trustworthy and competent.

They have always done a very good job. They are professional, punctual and responsive. The quality of their work is very good and I have been very satisfied with their service.

This company was able to fit me into an extremely busy schedule when the heat pump on my air conditioning system went out on one of the coldest mornings of the year. Apparently, so did everyone else's, because I was No. 10 in the queue. But they still got to my place shortly after noon on the day I called, found a bad relay, replaced it and checked out the system. Since then I've used them for routine annual maintenance of my systems (both sides of a duplex house) and been very pleased with their service. Al has also suggested a couple of low-cost changes to my system that has increased its efficiency and seems to have lowered my electric bills at least slightly.
