AC wasn't running cool. Called and they came out next day. After only looking at the inside unit the joker told me I needed to clean my coils....$400 to clean "as good as they could" or $800 to pull it out, my husband insisted he actually go look at the outside unit then all the sudden the problem was the fan motor. He said he would get us a price and charged 99$ for the "service fee" we had to tell him to fully diagnose btw. So fast forward to 11:45 he gives us a price of 487$ comes back starts at 12 because they called me at work to get the auth to start i told them i want an ITEMIZED bill including part price and labor all itemized, they agreed. He finished at 1pm argued with my husband for 30min after so total labor was 1.5 hrs company had the end time at 1:30 too ok whatever. Fast forward 2 days later I finally get the invoice and of course it wasn't itemized as I requested and they agreed to. I fought them for 2 days before getting an itemized bill and no wonder they didn't want to do it. They charged me for 3.5 hours of labor!!! When I called them out on it with time stamped proof I agian heard nothing...4 days later I email following up and I get a new invoice with a whole $75 taken off. BEWARE of this company they were trying to fraud me!

After Ed McNeill Air Inc refused to fix the leaking copper line set, AIR ZERO came to rescue with five star service. Cristina gave the proper price estimate, Marcus diagnosed the problem right away and my AC was running with cold air. TIMELY, PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEGEABLE 5 STAR SERVICE WITH COVID SAFETY PRECAUTIONS.

Had good luck using them previously. But, this time I took time off to meet them and go over the AC issues at my house (need full replacement.) They said they would email me an estimate by the next day. Its been two weeks and I've left two messages with their office and sent three emails. Never got any response at all. Waste of my time. I would not suggest them to anyone.

Great company! Air Zero installed our AC system more than 2 years ago and corrected a few problems from previous installation (former builder spec home). Their hours are very convenient, 8am to 8pm.

In April 2012, they installed a new central air conditioning unit in my home (condenser and air handler).  I obtained a few bids from companies in my area, and at $5,715.00, they were the cheapest.  I observed some of the installation process, and was not overly impressed, as it seemed very haphazardly done.  The air handler is located in a tricky spot in my attic, and the original installation of the prior unit was nothing to brag about, but that did excuse doing the same jury rig for the new unit.  After installation, I had problems immediately, where the system would run, but not cool effectively.  The temperature would actually rise inside the house, while the system was running.  They came out immediately, added more coolant, and things seemed to function appropriately for a few months.  However, the system periodically had the same issue with running but not cooling well.  It didn't do it much until June 2015, when I had them back out to the house to work on it.  They replaced a part in the condenser, which was under warranty, but charged me almost $600.00 in labor to fix it.  Less than two months later, it is doing the exact same thing again.  In addition, the duct work they connected to the air handler is now leaking air.  I consider this completely unacceptable for a system that is less than 3 years old, and have begun to wonder if they even have to competence to know what is wrong with the unit.
Based on my experiences with this company, I will never use them again, and strongly suggest that others do the same.  While they did give me the best price on the new system, it hasn't worked well, and I suspect that they planned to make up the difference in service charges.

The service was great, they were very quick to respond and come out to check AC the next morning at 8am Professional, courteous and timely. They sent a text with a picture of the service technician which made me feel secure when they arrived. I cannot stress enough how nice the technician, Keng Yang was--awesome!!!

This is a great A/C company. I have used them on multiple occasions and have referred them to friends, all of whom thanked me for the referral. They explained exactly what they would do and did it exactly as agreed upon. I thought the price I was charged was extremely reasonable for the work they did. We had pets inside the home and it was urgent to get the air back up and running. They arrived on very short notice and took care of my problem correctly and very professionally. They will both text and email you when the technician is on the way with a photo and name of who is coming out. The tech also called to let me know he would arrive in 15 minutes. I had them come back out to perform some additional work and had the same professional experience.

Their first question was "Who is paying the bill?" When my helpful renter said he could, the Air Zero repairman went to work.  According to his own report, the repairman found that "the air handler pan was filled with water, causing the float switch to cut the system off."  The drainage line taking condensation out of the pan to the exterior of the home was plugged.  Repairman used a nitrogen and 1 gallon of water flush to clear the line.  System started right back up.  No parts of any kind were used.  The repairman was at the location between 1 hour and 15 minutes and 1 hour 30.  It was a Sunday.  The charge?  $412, but as stated on the phone when we called, they agreed to deduct the $69 service call, leaving a balance, paid by renter, of $343.00.

We called to file a complaint and spoke with a manager.  He refused to lower the payment, and because my renter had paid in full we had no recourse.  I tried to call again myself to speak with manager, but he refused to return my call.

I understand that it was a Sunday, mid day, and that the repairman had to climb into the attic.  However, considering the duration of the repair, and the fact that no parts were used, and that it was a VERY common issue taking almost no time to figure out, I call this a very unfair charge.  $228 per hour for an air conditioning system repairman is simply too much.  I am sorry to leave a bad review, but this was simply unjust.

According to my renter no quote was given after inspection and before work was performed.  Even if it were, it's HOT, and taking advantage is no way to do business.  Way to high a fee.  No consideration to customer concerns.

Response from Air Zero

"[Member Name], Our technician asks who is paying the bill to determine who has the authority to approve the repair . As you stated we did discuss the repair and exact pricing before any work was done - approval was given to complete repair. We completed the repair and charged you exactly what we quoted you . I did speak to Sandy or Sandra with a follow up call - The rates you were billed were overtime rates for an after hours call on a Sunday."

They sent a technician out the next day and diagnosed the problem. There was not enough time to get the parts we needed since we were leaving to go out of town. When we called back to get a quote for the parts they kept giving us the run around. We left messages over multiple days that were not returned. Actually we never heard from them at all.
