Affordable Aluminum

I called, and an appointment was made. The day of the appointment I did receive a early call stating that there was a dental emergency, and there would need to be a reschedule. The lady on the phone said that I would get a call later that day for a time and date for estimate. I never heard back from them!

Project never got off the ground as Scott Walker refused to work with me due to or personalities clashing.

Due to intervening circumstances unrelated to getting a porch enclosure, I had to deal with the intervening problem and was unable to get the porch enclosed. Affordable Aluminum does a great job; I've seen their work here at a friend's home. I would contact them again. It was unfortunate that I had an emergency with my home indoors to deal with but their price was fair for the back porch enclosure. They were very nice.

They were wonderful people. The workmanship was great. Everyone of the employees were very courteous and professional. This is the best company I have worked with in a long, long time!!

We called and ordered, and they had it for us the next day (which was a Saturday). They were very helpful and actually supplied a couple extra anchors because we weren't sure how it was anchored.

Arrived on time very professional explained the procedure and then installed screened enclosure in about 1 1/2 hrs

Initial quote was for limited scope of replacing screens and relagging the existing structure to the house.  A few days before the work was to commence I noticed rot on the fascia board and let them know when they came out I wanted to properly repair the house.  I ended up expanding the scope of work; they were very accommodating and rescheduled very quickly.
The work was done well, met/exceeded expectations, did a good job of clearing the worksite at the end of the day (3 day job) and upon completion did a decent clean up before leaving.  I have no complaints on the work done at all.
The only bad part of my experience was with communication/office.  I had emails that were not answered between the quote and work being performed.  -Phone calls were responded to quickly.  On the last day of work, I wanted to call and reach the workers to let them know of a few concerns and requests to save them a return trip.  What I thought was the cell phone number  was actually the office and the person answering the phone only offered to transfer me to voicemail and stated that they did not have a cell number.  As it turned out, all the requests I had were accomplished without me being able to get in touch with the crew (a testament to the conscientiousness of the workers) but it was frustrating to not be able to reach the crew working on my house. My final invoice was a bit sloppy too; the bottom line was right but the subtotal did not make sense.  Hopefully they will take this criticism constructively and potential customers reading this will still give them a chance if they have a similar experience (because at the end of they day they did a great job).
I don't give "A"s lightly, give them a shot!

We used their services about 3 months ago and the service cost us about $7,000.00

The provider put in a Screen Porch and apart from the concrete floor, everything was fine. Their aluminum work was great but the contractor for the concrete flooring was pathetic.

The concrete work was so bad that i had to have the screen porch tiled.

I would use this provider again

Upon completion, the job looked great. First rain, there were so many leaks, I recaulked the whole job. I haven't had any problems with the PGT's, and will not mention them again. My whole problem is with Affordable Alluminum's made in house fixed panels. One of them came apart and they took care of it (replaced the vinyl) Over a period of time I had a couple calls gone unanswered. Finally, I had the owner come back out for the leaking and was told and quot;they are real sprinklersand quot; (news to me) I recaulked and recaulked to no avail. In the mean time, these windows failed one by one (I paid to have two of them redone) which was also a lot of labor for me to remove and reinstall. Every one has failed. They just let go from the frames. I contacted Affordable Aluminum to again attempt a resolution in mid-March and a couple of days later received an email back inaccurately explaining that I was told the windows would leak before I purchased them. I would NEVER, NEVER have done this. Looking to resolve this problem.

It was a pleasant experience and the patio cover is just what we wanted.

Progress was slower than anticipated due to weather, however, when weather permitted, work proceeded smoothly.

Very well. Very happy with the results.

We're very patient as we worked through our options-changed our minds a few times, which accounted for some extra cost.

I called Affordable Aluminum again to complete the balance of the openings on my home, after they did all the windows in 2008. I found them careful in making the estimate and in answering my questions. It cost more for these remaining shutters than I had expected, but I went ahead because I have been well satisfied with the current shutters. I experienced deterioration of two of the straps which hold the shutters in place while not in use. Perhaps that is it be expected in this climate. The company has now replaced these. The only complaint I have had both times is that they did not provide the warranty paper without my specific request.

We did have an issue with them. I forgot what it was but they did make it right, though. There was something that they did not do properly but they did make it right for us. I think it took them a long time to do it because I think they just started doing enclosures and they had a little issue with it. I would use them again if we ever have our screen enclosure redone because that's flown on an area but I think they have started doing enclosures and they were not really proficient at it. They gave us a really good deal. The screen enclosures that they gave us a few years before that was excellent. Doing screen enclosures themselves was really not their expertise because they just started doing that. I think their punctuality was good.

Great outfit. When I am in that area repairing stuff and fixing stuff I use them. They carry odd ball springs and things. If a window is broken on the interior that's supposed to rise up and rise down you have to tear the window apart to get to those springs to fix them. No one carries those parts. So if you can get the window out, these are the expensive windows so you can replace the springs and rods, they carry all those crazy parts for all those crazy companies. They keep it in stock. If they don't all you have to do is tear that window out and bring in the broken part and they have manuals of every company and they will get it ordered and get it sent to them. That way you aren't going to replace a $1,000 window or a $500 expensive window that's spring loaded. They are very good, they have great parts and they don't screw you on price.

The owner came to the house and gave us the estimate for the work that we wanted completed and broke it down in three sections for us. We then had another person come out for exact measurements and we were given a time frame for the work to be done. Everything was done to our complete satisfaction and the work performed was done very professionally. I would definitely do business with them again.

Scott Walker was very professional and responsive in evaluating our carports and giving us a bid to essentially replace everything except the poles (which could be re-used). We chose to do less extensive repairs at this time by another vendor, but we would have chosen Affordable Aluminum had we wanted essentially new carports.

Affordable aluminum came, did measurements, gave me product options and, when aluminum was my choice, they ordered a door . The new door arrived in a short turnaround time and was installed for me.. The installer was skilled and did a great job
They are prompt with appointments and good at explaining their product(s).
