In this latest work I decided to install a new system vice servicing the present unit because of its age and condition. Dymond installed a Trane XR, 3 ton 15 SEER system this November. The installation was very smooth. It is obvious they are good at planning ahead especially
for these attic installed tear out and installation jobs. The technicians Jeff and Leo first laid down floor protection all the way from the garage entrance to the attic portal. They then disassembled the air handler and brought it down piece by piece being very careful not to damage walls or floors. They then prepared the attic for the new system. I didn?t expect this but they replaced some ductwork that was crumbling on the inside with new pieces. They also insured the drain line was cleaned out and working as well as the overflow switches and wiring in the drain pan. They then manhandled the new system into place and made all connections. Finally, they installed the condenser unit on the exterior. Remarkably, they didn?t stop work until the whole job was complete, no breaks, and no lunch. Seems they were driven to make sure I was without a/c for a minimum time. The owner of the company stopped to check on the installation; another sign that this company is serious about customer satisfaction. The system has been operating for a month now and I?ve enjoyed great performance and I?m very pleased that I decided to go with new instead of repairing old.
I called him on Sunday afternoon, expecting to leave a message and get a return call on Monday (normal business hours)... But, to my surprise, he called me right back and scheduled his team to come on Monday afternoon! Now, we are in a cool house all before dinner.
