BOB OWENS TREE CARE

We needed a tree removed and several trees trimmed. Bob and his team were very professional and easy to work with. Unlike a lot of tree services, they even removed all of the debris so there was nothing left behind. Bob also handled getting the permit to remove the tree we needed removed. He made it very easy.

He was punctual, knowledgeable, professional and left the work sites pristine. Couldn't ask for more and plan on using his service whenever I need tree trimming.

We need to purchase and have installed some new trees, so after finding Bob on Angies list I sent him an email asking him to contact me. After not receiving a reply, a couple of days later I called and left a message on his answering machine. Again not having heard back, two days later I left another message. Today, two weeks later and still not having heard from Bob, I called the second number listed here on Angies list, which I guess is his his cell phone because he actually answered it. I told him I was only a couple of miles from him, I had found him on Angies list, and I needed some stuff done. His reply was "I'm pretty busy right now". I asked if wanted to call me back later, or if he wasn't taking new customers, and replied he wasn't taking new customers. I'm glad that his business is so good he doesn't need new customers. As a business owner myself, I fully understand that he has every right to make that decision. But in my opinion, it is just plain unprofessional not to return calls and tell people of such. I lost two weeks in this process just waiting to hear from him.

We needed a tree removed from our yard in order to put a pool in. Bob Owen's was fast (they came out the next day after we called them), and their rates were very reasonable. In addition, they referrred a company to come out and remove the stump by telling us that the stump removal company was in our area and could prtobably come by the same day.They did come out within the next couple of hours so we got the entire tree taken care of in just 1 day. We were very happy with Bob Owen's Tree Care and would use them again should we ever need it.

He is a certified forester. He did a beautiful job and he is very professional. I plan on using him on a regular basis.

This was the 4th time we have had Bob trim our trees. He is always punctual and very professional. There is never any mess left behind. We will definitely use him in the future.

I received two other quotes: one unsolicitated from a guy driving by that was a bit lower ($150), and one from a highly rated Angie's List provider that was almost twice as much ($495.) A co-worker recommended Bob, a Certified Arborist, and we were extremely happy with his service. He came by promptly to provide a written proposal. We scheduled the work for the following week and he arrived right on time. The yard was completely cleaned up when he left and the trees look great. Excellent job and we will definitely use him again in the future.

He was a trained forester, and was very conscientious and ethical. His pricing was very reasonable as well. The quality of his work was very good and I was satisfied with his work.

The company performed the service as stated and more. The job was very well done when we were away and the premises were left clean with no debris in sight. We will definitely use his service again.

It was an excellent experience. Bob was courteous, knowledgeable, flexible and professsional. He arrived and completed the job on-time. He recommended ways to save us money. I felt like he cared about the trees, our property and doing a quality job. He listened and make good recomemendations for caring for the trees. I felt that he was honest, fair and a responsible businessperson.

He gave me a very reasonable estimate, and then suggested that if I were interested in doing the work myself, he would teach me how. I chose to do it myself, and his method worked beautifully. He is also a certified aqua culturist, and gave me some information and advice about the pond we are restoring. In addition, he is a certified arborist, and gave me information about how to keep my trees healthy.

Bob Owens was recommended to me by a good friend who he had done work for in the past. He showed up within an hour of my first call to him, was very friendly, and gave me what I felt was a great price for the work they were going to do. The work was done that weekend. They did a great job, did more than expected and had their own wood chipper to mulch up the trimmings. Bob even offered a 10% discount if I would keep the mulch, which I gladly did. It came in handy in and around many of my plantings and saved me a bundle from having to buy mulch. Both men were very pleasant and professional and showed up when they said they would for the initial estimate as well as to perform the work. Bob is a Certified Arborist, which was important to me as I was afraid one of the trees may have been diseased, and I wanted more than just a guy with a chainsaw to survey the situation. As it turned out, squirrels had been eating the tree and the tree did not have to be removed. I highly recommend this company to anyone who needs to have trees pruned.

Really excellent. Gave very good price (less than half of that quoted by an A-listed company). Bob and 2 assistants showed up exactly on time, and did great work, trees look fantastic, and their clean up was spotless. Bob Owens is a registered Arborist and really knows his trees! Highly recommended.
