I would recommend Ron to anyone. Very professional, on time, extensive knowledge of electronics. H repaired my outside TV antenna that was damaged when a new roof was installed on my house. Being a single senior woman, I've been taken over the coals by several home improvement companies. Ron renewed my faith in honest, trustworthy and knowlegable workers.

We are very happy with our over the air antenna installation and it’s performance. Ron’s extensive experience and attention to detail helped the job go smoothly. Amye’s responsiveness in the front office made the scheduling and payment process trouble free.

Job took a little longer than he thought, but was completed satisfactorily. We had trouble with the reception after he left, but he came back (1 1/2 hr. drive) and fixed it under warranty. It's nice to deal with people who honor their word and make it right, even if it costs them money. Recommend highly if you need electronics or work on them. Thanks Ron & Amy!

This was our second time to have Bay Entertainment work at our house, the first time Ron installed antennas. This time Ron installed security cameras at my house and my daughter's house. The work was done in a timely matter and we are pleased with the results.

great . Ron entered my house via a lock box and completed the installation. Everything worked fine goos reception and a lot of channels.

I was looking for an installer to hook up a whole house antennae for HD television signal within the home. Since I previously had a home theater installed and the wiring was not the best, I also wanted to have that fixed. I had a few quotes and then Ron came in purporting how much of a professional he is and what he would do. After he wanted to initially charge for his estimate he chose to come to my home and looked at the job for no charge. After reviewing what I wanted to do, it was determined that part of the job (outdoor speakers) were not going to be done but I was going to add a NEST thermostat and a new EERO router with the new mesh design feature for better coverage inside and outside the house. Ron began subtracting prices and adding prices to the original quote on scratch paper. In the end, I agreed on a price and a revised quote would be emailed and I would receive it over the weekend. During his visit, Ron had all of the right things to say and he more than once said he is the professional. My big concern was to make sure if I spent this money, what was installed worked. It was a Thursday that he came out and I left a deposit with him. Ron scheduled to do the work on the following Tuesday but no time was given. I followed up late on Monday about the quote as I never received it & to find out when he would arrive on Tuesday and was told that he doesn’t have all of the parts yet and he would be here on Wednesday. This is unprofessional as a courtesy call was never made to me concerning a delay on the installation and the revised quote was never received for me to review in a timely fashion. As I move to the day of the install on Wednesday, Ron arrived by himself and began the project. He installed the NEST and the router and programmed them without including my wife nor I in the process or giving any instructions on the use. He basically had me install apps on my phone and said it’s all on the apps or call tech support of the devices for help. This is the professional? I don’t think so. Next, Ron went on to fix the previous install of the home theater tuner. One thing he did here is change the way the wires go into the tuner. During his initial visit he said they should all have some type of connector and he would do it because it is the better way. Since I was looking for everything to work and not have to worry about this in the future I agreed. Later on the install day, I found out that he wanted to charge extra for this because on his revised quote (only sent via email the day before the install) the connectors were not listed. I also have a grouping of wires that are NOT in a conduit outside the house that he was going to re-run through a new conduit. Since I didn’t add the outdoor speakers, he did NOT do this. I did not find out this wasn’t being done until the end of the night when he was finished with everything. I questioned him about the conduit while he was rewiring the tuner earlier in the day as it didn’t make sense to me to fix the wiring without running it through the conduit outside first and he said he was going to get to it later. This was a big item for me and again because he didn’t list it on his revised quote, he claims I can have it done if I were to pay extra. This was discussed last Thursday; he knew I wanted it done and it was included on the original quote. After the EERO router was installed and while Ron was still at our house, the Amazon Fire TV Stick had problems staying connected to the network. During our initial meeting, he told me he makes sure anything he installs works prior to him leaving the premises since he is a certified installer of the products he installs. When he couldn’t figure out why the Fire TV Stick wouldn’t stay connected, he told us to call tech support for EERO for help because he installed it correctly and it’s not due to the installation. Glad I hired the professional. I could have purchased the EERO myself, connected it to my modem and called EERO tech support without his “Professional” help. The Fire TV Stick was not the only device to have problems with the EERO. We have a security system that can be viewed from anywhere on a smartphone app or an internet connection. Lo and behold I was only able view the cameras if my devices were on WiFi not through our IP address. Again, Ron told us it was our problem and to contact the company that installed them since the router was connected correctly. Since I was assured EVERYTHING would work when he was done, I was taken aback by this. I did proceed to contact them the following day and was told there was a $45 service charge for the tech support. I agreed to it as I needed to have this feature working again. I contacted Ron and informed him of the cost and asked for him to cover this as this should have been part of the install of the new router. He refused and argued with me that it wasn’t his problem. Again, totally unprofessional. I never would have switched routers if I knew there would be a major problem with 2 of the features that are used every day in my household. Ron touted this product as an amazing piece of technology, it would solve connectivity issues in the house (of which we had very little problems), how it helped so many of his other clients, and that he was a certified installer of EERO so he could trouble shoot problems that arose. This obviously didn’t happen as he told me to contact EERO to solve my problems. Many hours later with EERO support and the security company’s tech support, I’ve solved the camera issue but not the Fire TV Stick problem. Maybe I should bill Ron for all the man hours I’ve put in to make the system work that the “Professional Certified Installer” put in? I don’t work for free to coin a phrase he threw at me. He quoted me a not to exceed price and at the end of the night was charging more than what was quoted. He said, “I don’t work for free. What is my time worth to you?” My response, “What you quoted me in the revised quote, especially since you didn’t do everything that was discussed.” If Ron were the professional that he claims to be, he would not have left any doubt as to what work was being done. If I were in the technology field maybe I would have understood what was listed in the quote but since I’m not in this field, I went by the discussion we had when we walked the property and talked about what I wanted done. In hind sight, I should have reviewed the revised quote with him prior to the work being started. I won’t make this mistake again. I caution anybody who goes to hire him. Simply put, Ron did not act as a professional and I would never hire him do work for me again.

I was very happy with the price, service and professionalism. He showed up at the time he said he would be at my house. He made sure every TV (6) was working and had crystal clear reception before he left. I would definitely hire hom again.

Ron took care of everything, from the consultation, to ordering our equipment and finally the installation. He took the time and steps to ensure our sound system was on point and educate us on how to navigate through our entertainment. Very nice & would recommend.

Ron was GREAT!!! He took time to sit down with me so I could explain what my objectives were - which was to cut my cable bill - and gave me some good advice for alternatives. He proceeded to Install an outside HDTV Antenna, and hooked up all the cabling to my TV. I ended up with over 50 local channels that are crystal clear and are 100 times better quality that what I was getting from my HD Cable provider! I wish I had known about Bay Entertainment 10 years ago. My Cable bill was cut from $230/month to $85 for High Speed Internet and Sling TV. I have not lost any channels that I was watching on cable but I'm saving $145/month or about $1740 a year. Thanks Bay Entertainment!!!

He told me about the particular antenna that would work best for me in Dover, FL and gave me an idea of what would be involved in the installation and gave me a general estimate on the price. The price was approximately two months worth of FIOS service. When he came out to install the system he was very professional and knowledgable and suggested that the antenna could be installed inside of the attic instead of outside on the roof. After a few hours of installation and tweaking with a signal booster I had reception on every cable outlet in my house. We now receive 46 completely clear digital channels at our house. Even with thunder storms the channels still come in clear. Not as a part of the review but just some extra information for Angies List readers... We also receive 20 cable channels via the Internet using "Sling." This service at sling.com costs us $20 per month. Our phone is through Ooma for $4 per month. I am so happy that we cut the cord, except for internet from Bright House for $50 per month. I highly recommend BEST and I plan to use some of their other services in the future for a surround sound system.

We had the new set installed by another company but that technician had difficulty getting the HDTV to work with our 10 year old VCR. It worked for a short time but didn't pick up as many stations as our old cathode ray set. Believing the difficulty concerned the antenna my wife and I decided to try another company. BEST was the only company in the area that worked on outside antennas so I gave them a call. Ron came out the next day and was able to correctly diagnose the difficulties. He replaced the corroded wiring and connections and had the set working in a very reasonable amount of time. He made sure I was familiar with the procedure of switching from TV to VHS to DVD and back again before he left. He also gave me some good ideas should I decide to improve our system.
My wife and I are delighted with the finished product and will certainly call BEST when we're ready to upgrade.

Ron is a great person, he was right on time for the appointment. He does very thorough work and is very reasonably priced. I recommend him highly.
