Gary(owner) was fantastic. Showed up on time for initial appointment. Prices came within the time frame promised along with a drawing showing exactly how closet would look . Made appointment to install and was here on schedule. Took him about 4 hours to do both closets. The closets look exactly as we planned. They did an exceptional job. Will be using this company again for our other closets

Could not have been a more pleasant experience. Gary, the owner, was on time, pleasant to deal with and very knowledgeable. He guided me through the do's and don'ts of the design I had in my head. He came up with a great design and the price was lower than all the other quotes I had gotten. Installation was clean and efficient. Would recommend to anyone.

Owner, Gary asked me to make the final check to him instead of his company "so he could defraud the government." Also beware, Closet Depot will NOT take away the closet shelves that are being replaced unless you arrange it with them in writing before they start the job!

"We will gladly remove the shelving if asked, although it is clearly stated on the price sheet that we do not. Being a home based business, we have no storage for all the used shelving we remove. The majority of our clients keep the shelving for use in other areas, like the garage. This is a previous client that we have done work for before. Since she was a previous customer, she apparently was upset she was asked to render a deposit as is our policy and could not change the day of installation which she changed numerous times. Even when the deposit was sent, she decided to send an amount less than the contract stated. Not sure why she become so negative on her review. Our response was spot on with all the changes she requested, which where many. Our pricing is lower than any other supplier or she would not have used us. The quality is above reproach and has never been challenged in 17 years. First negative review since we have been in business as you can see in all the previous reviews."

Left a message and my call was returned promptly. Set-up an appointment to get an estimate. The provider arrived on time looked at the space listened to what I wanted. Then presented several options and showed pictures to help visualize what was being discussed. An estimate was sent via email that night. I was asked to provide half the cost as a deposit. An installation appointment was setup about two weeks later. Installation day went as planned, arrived on time installed the closet cleaned up and I paid the remaining balance. The result was as expected and the price was fair.

Gary helped us revise an existing pantry design we developed to be more functional. He then installed it. Gary was on time and worked quickly and then cleaned up afterwards. I would hire Gary again.

Gary was very professional and helpful. He was on time for his appointment and delivered the service when he said he would. He went above and beyond and even fixed a broken shelf in my daughters room at no additional cost. The quality and finished product is fantastic and was significantly lower priced than the 4 other Angie list companies that I called. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of custom closets!

The owner Gary is who you will interact with through the whole process. He arrived early, was friendly, and knows his stuff. He will give you a very reasonable quote as well as understanding what you want even if you have no idea. He designed and built a beautiful modern custom master walk in closet. The product quality is good and lots of options to find exactly what you like. He was very clean, didnt leave any mess behind. He had great ideas and I didnt have to spend too much time at all. Now I have a envy worthy custom clostet I really love my shoe wall! To give a truly honest review, I only gave a B for punctuality beacause he is always early. He will even tell you so. I really prefer on time to early but either is way better to late.

In January 2016 I contacted four of the major closet companies in the local area requesting quotes. Although I had a pretty good idea of what I wanted, I also welcomed recommendations from the experts. After receiving and evaluating all the proposals, I went back to each with changes and a request for best and final quotes. At that time (late February 2016), I also referred to Angie's List to check the reviews for each of the companies before making my decision. It was at that time I learned of Closet Depot of Tampa Bay. Owner/Installer, Gary Yodice was very responsive to my initial request for quote (and to an additional request for modification). Gary's pricing was MUCH lower than all of the other companies, while also providing MORE than requested from his competitors (more hampers, more drawers, and more doors), as well as a 2 week lead time (versus 4-12 weeks for the competition). I was having other work completed in my closet (new flooring and paint) but did not want to be without a master closet for long; therefore, I was working with a very tight schedule, which Gary willingly accommodated. FINAL RESULT: A beautiful and functional master closet which we LOVE!

Gary came to the house and was right on time. We knew what we wanted and he made some suggestions that would make better use of the space, explained why and how. He was professional, courteous, and personable.
On the day of installation, he was right on time, cleaned up after himself and even offered to vacuum the room. The fit was good and it came out exactly as described.
We will be using him again.

Gary designed the space of a newly renovated master closet. There were some difficulties and delays with some of the other contractors and Gary had to come and remeasure which he did without issue. One of the drawers came in wrong and he promptly came back with a replacement; I had ordered an additional shelf which he provided complimentary because of the door issue. This was a very unexpected and greatly appreciated gesture. The closet came out amazing, the space is laid out so well and I absolutely love my drawers. We upgraded to a raised panel door and am really glad we did as it provides a nice finished look. Gary always provided a speedy response, good communication and excellent professionalism.

I was very pleased with Gary from the start to finish. He was the only one I received a quote from that I felt actually listened to what I wanted. He spent time discussing different options and giving his opinion on what he thought would work best in each area. I received the quote and the drawings the same day and he was happy to work with me when I decided to change my mind on a few things. I also appreciated how honest he was with the price and he gave us a few tips on how to get the cost down. The day of install, Gary showed up early and got right to work. I was amazed at how fast and quietly he worked. It is nice to have the owner of the company present at the job from start to finish. We love our new closets and garage mudroom and would definitely use Gary for future projects. Thank you Closet Depot!

When Gary came over to give me an estimate, one of the things I (thought I) wanted was a wall unit for storage and TV in the Master bedroom. He convinced me it was not a good idea because I'd never be able to take it with me if I moved, I'd never be able to re-arrange my furniture, and it'd be cheaper to buy something in a furniture store. He was right and probably save me about a thousand dollars.
Anyway, he and I discussed design plans for the Master bedroom closet, garage, and laundry room. My schedule was somewhat inflexibile because I moved into a new house and needed to have this project started and completed asap so that I could move my things from the old house to the new house within a week as I took off work to do the move. Gary was super accommodating and finished all 3 projects in 2 days. I ordered storage for brooms and tall things which didn't work in the laundry room, but Gary retrofitted it into the garage and it's perfect. He was there on time each morning and worked hard to get the job done in the two days. His workmanship is superb and his attitude is friendly, yet professional. I'd definitely recommend him.

Would highly recommend. Gary came and designed a master bedroom closet for me. Considered my input and came up with a design that was emailed to me the same night as the quote. About a week later, I had my custom closet. Gary was efficient and professional. If you are looking to have a custom closet build, you need to call this guy. You won't be disappointed!

I had contacted 3 companies to give me estimates to design and construct 2 closets in my Master Bedroom, a walkin and smaller one. Two of the companies were national companies and the third was the Closet Depot of Tampa Bay. Gary from Closet Depot responded promptly and provided a thorough assessment of what needed to be done to complete the job. He understood not only the design elements I wanted but pointed out structural concerns that needed to be considered. When I received his estimate for the job, the amount was one third the cost of the highest estimate and 1/2 of the cost of the second. The job was completed by Gary in one day as promised and done just as I wanted. I would highly recommend him for any jobs you may be considering and would defintely contact him again for future projects.
