We have used them for 26 years. They are excellent, The best. We have always had good luck when they do any work. Never have had any complaints. They don't try to build the ticket.

They are the best company we have had. They get the best marks, but they are a little expensive. They do everything perfectly, but they charge a little bit more. We are in an gated community, and pay more than anyone else in the community. Its part of life, and it isn't fair, but its part of life. They are good. They are top notch. You will just pay a little bit more. The best quality. I will, but they gave us a quote for an air conditioner for $6,000, and another provider gave us a quote for $5,000. They were a $1,000 high.

After 3 phone calls over 2.5 hours after hours to the answering service, a technician finally called me back and said even though it was warranty work, they couldn't come out the same night. Didn't matter that it was an emergency (in that my husband had just had surgery and needed the comfort for his recovery), tech. said that it would be the next day. In a snarky way, he also said they couldn't come out because, "ma'am, we have to eat and sleep too. It will be tomorrow." Guess they don't have all-hours call out??? Or they just didn't feel like it. Couldn't get a straight answer out of him. Found another reputable company who responded after hours right away.

Swimmingly! The crew did a fabulous and effective job without much fuss even though they had to install a new air handler in what is still a hall closet. The Trane unit also has an electrostatic air filtration system and a condensate pump. The missus likes the house cold so we keep it at 70 degreeeeezzzz now and I still haven't had to pay more than half what I used to to the power company for 78 degrees with the old package unit. Gotta love it!

I am very satisfied with their service. The price included parts and labor as well as registration of the unit. They took care of all of that. We chose them because they have been around for a long time and have a lot of employees.

Ward's is without question one of the worst PR and Customer Service AC Companies out there. 20 yrs. ago we had them in Lakeland and their service was great... Too bad it's NOT that way today. Long story short. Ward's "head man" came to our home with the Lowes AC Rep. to provide us with a full AC system replacement of two AC units complete with new air handlers. Interestingly, prior to "inviting" for AC bids, we had an engineer familiar with AC systems provide us with his rendition as to: 1.) What we needed to do and 2.) Any modifications to the AC he would recommend. He unanimously recommended completely "trashing" our AC's and air handlers, after 21 yrs. of service (Trane.) Additionally, he did a "pressure test" of the AC system on the South side of our home since the 3 1/2 ton unit was on that side of the house and was the real workhorse, but for some reason the Guest Bedroom at the rear of the house seemed to be slightly warmer than the other rooms. The Engineer determined a 2nd, small return air duct be installed in that bedroom since there was approx. a distance of 20'+ feet between the entrance to that bedroom and the one 20 x 25 single return air vent handling that side of the house. Interestingly, the Ward's "head man" upon inspection of the AC system,, although I mentioned the problem with the Guest Bedroom failed to address that problem at any time during his Estimate presentation. To the contrary, when I brought the suggestion up to add another, small return air vent, his response was, "Why?" Basically, challenging my comments on every turn... Additionally, the Engineer agreed with my observation some of the ductwork in the attic was severely crimped or improperly installed thereby inhibiting proper AC air flow to and from the Air Handlers. When mentioning this to the Wards Estimator, I was again challenged with the rhetorical question, "Why?" again. At that point, I decided Lowes selection of Wards as one of their area AC installers was the WRONG WAY TO GO. Another "sticking point." The day following the Estimate from Lowes, I had asked the Lowes Rep to get me an estimate on the cost of adding a new, Return Air Vent int he Guest Bedroom. He assured me he would contact his Wards counterpart and get back with me... Two days later, with no response, I called the Lowes Rep and asked him "What the H*** was going on with Wards' estimate for the extra air duct." I was advised, "The Wards Rep was a "very busy person" and he would try to get him to provide me an estimate ASAP. With that response, I decided, "The H*** with it" and decided to go with the competitive vendor, who bid was $1K more, but was very approachable and agreeable to the improvements suggested. It was worth an extra $1K not to put up with Wards' Reps crap any longer. You pay for what you get and with Wards' that expectation will certainly fall well short....

I had already called earlier in the day Tuesday to ensure they have my phone number correctly. I work a few minutes from home, so I told them to call when they were coming and I would jet home to meet them. Tuesday at 5:30, still no call. I drive to their shop, thinking they forgot or something. The house is HOT, it has been over 24 hours, and not a peep from them. Tuesday is a FAIL!

I was told Wednesday morning, for sure. FAIL! So I take off work, waiting for someone, and they do not come until after noon. Now both me and the house are HOT! FAIL!
Serviceman took less than 10 minutes to diagnose the problem. He calls model/serial numbers in to the office. They check, but the part is not stocked, and they will order it. Should be in Thursday by noon. He leaves, says he will see me the next day. FAIL!
Next day, Thursday, at noon, I call the shop to see when they are coming by. Some dufus named Beverly in the Service Department forgot to order the part! Now I am really p*****, but I am so far in to this I tell them to just order it and overnight it. Big FAIL!
Friday at 5pm, serviceguy finally shows up and puts in a new blower motor. Five days, that should have been 2. FAIL!
I will now go to Angies List to look for a new vendor. What do I care if they are around the corner (like Wards) or Plant City or Auburndale? I thought I would 'keep it local', but apparently that is not a good criteria to select a vendor. Especially with Angies List, Google Plus and Facebook. I just know that my next service call will not be to Wards. They dont have that 'edge' anymore. There are people out there that want, need and care about getting your business. Thats the company I want to give my money to.

They are reliable, show up when they are supposed to. They take care of the problem without trying to up sell me. I highly recommend them to others, as I have been using them for the past 12-15 years.

After seeing an ad from this company,in the paper, for up to $1,000 manufacturers rebate on a Trane A/C, I stopped at their office around 1:00 pm. THere was no one in the entry office and a woman in a nearby office barely acknowledged me. After a few minutes she came out and I explained I wanted more info about the Trane rebate. She took my phone number and said someone would call. At 4:30 pm no one had called so I called them back and was told someone would call me the next day. As it turned out the rebate would only be "about $100". The total price was not very competitive and I was unhappy with their slow responses so I went with a different company.

Sweet! The repairman was courteous, conscientious and confused by the other company's diagnosis. The A/C is still doing fine. I recommend Ward's without reservation.
