Top Down Exterior Cleaning

We originally had Topdown come out about a year ago. I think because we were in a new house some of the sealing didn't take as well as it normally would have so we had a few problem areas. I contacted Colie about it and without hesitation he sent a crew out to redo areas we had concern with. Everything looks great now now and they were great to work with! Would highly recommend them.

Excellent work, thorough and no excuses. Roofs look like new, houses are clean and the driveway looks great. Definitely will use again.

Job was done well with good workmanship. and attention. Black alge is now gone from the roof and the pavers look great.

The roof came out beautiful. The house looked good, the porch didn't seem to come clean... after they left, we did it twice more and it was great.

I had gotten a quote from a friend's referral, I found this company on Angie's List. They matched quot and did extra.

Great! Colie and his employee were so friendly and polite. They also offered to clean our patio pool screen and house for not too much more ($150?). This was such as help because cleaning the screen myself has been a disaster - I could never reach the top of it with the powerwasher. Now, our roof looks brand new. I never knew what color it really was before. The pool screen structure is clean as a whistle. (I hired him again to do the roof of a rental too.)

Very good job, They were very nice and did a good cleaning of my home. They even cleaned the atrium as well as all the exterior walls. They did a great job because there was discoloring on the walls before and it looked wonderful!

After calling to say when he would arrive, Taylor arrived right on time, and did a spectacular job. He was very professional throughout — engaging, polite, and just an all-around nice young man. Our driveway and sidewalk are now so clean, they look a little bit out of place in our neighborhood!

What they did, they did very well. It's what they wouldn't do and why they wouldn't do it, that were issues. The helper did an outstanding job on the roof and pool area. I offered them a little extra if they would straighten out a bend in the soffit (squirrels were getting in) while they were up on the roof, because I am a disabled veteran and it is hard for me to get up there. The owner declined. He told me that it was a "design flaw." While this was obviously not the case, it was not in his wheelhouse and not what he was hired to do, so I let it go. One thing that bothered me though was the chatter I later heard between the owner doing the fence and the helper on the roof. They did not know I was in the area at the time. The owner was cheerfully telling the helper that he thought they should be done with everything in 4 hours. That was a shock. This house was a foreclosure and while much of the outside was fairly well kept up by the bank, the pool area was a real mess. When I asked if they thought they could finish such a big job in only 4 hours, no one answered. I kept an eye on them after that. The owner did a really nice job on the fence and driveway/parking areas. As for the house, he would not do the windows. That was a surprise. Of the 10 or so house washers, I've hired over the years, this is the only one that did not include the windows in a house wash. He would not do the mud dauber nests either. The owner told me that I had to sand them down and paint over them. I later discovered that they needed to be hand-scrubbed with a soft brush and lots of water (hey, it's mud), so I'm doing it. It's easy, but time-consuming, which may be why he did not want to do it. Either that or he does not know his business. Assuming he does, he should have said did not want to do it, or that it would cost more, or something to that effect. Again, what they did do, they did extremely well. In fact, the helper did such a wonderful job on the pool area that I gave the him a $40 tip for it. Later, when collecting the payment, the owner said "We appreciate tips." We? I do not tip owners who can charge whatever they wish and this one was charging me over $100/hour, so I ignored that. (My Master Plumber--with his helper--charges that.) The lower marks for responsiveness and professionalism were given because I believe the owner should have been up front about the windows and not wait until they were well into the job to tell me. I also believe he should have been more honest about the soffit and the mud dauber nests, and not think to skim over the job in 4 hours. Serious health issues and internet problems kept me from filing this review earlier. I have since hired another company that is up-front, does a great job (including the windows), and charges much less, so I recommend that you look elsewhere.

It went great. They did a great job low pressure washing my roof. I like that they took care to protect the plants in my yard. My roof looked great. Our neighbors are going to have them do their roofs also.

I called and received an estimate within one day. I scheduled them to come out 3 days later and they showed up on time and went straight to work. They cleaned the entire house, roof, and driveway and did an outstanding job. The house looks like brand new and I will definitely use them again. They cleaned up and left no mess. Quality work.

They followed through.  I appreciated that they came back when I wasn't 100% satisfied to complete the job.  The company does what they say they're going to do.  I even hired them to do another job because I was so pleased.

Showed up as scheduled, completed the work and provided excellent customer service. Extremely happy with the work performed. They did a great job.

The owner and the technicians were very prompt, conscientious, and they communicated the process extremely well. I was able to speak with each of them and they answered all my questions. They were overall a fantastic crew to work with and I would most definitely recommend them.
