Our washing machine was not working.  Called Ray's and scheduled appointment.  Ray came out and fixed the issue.  Very professional.  Positive experience.

Called Rays on Tuesday and they accommodated my renters request to come on Thursday in the AM.   They coordinated with my renters and repaired the dryer at my rental property on the same visit.   Service fee was 59...and the other was for parts.....total 111.00.   I was extremely satisfied with the customer service and the ability to be flexible in dealing with my renters and me as the owner.   After the repair,  they called and I gave them my CC info and paid for the service.  I liked that also.....as other companies I called in Lakeland wanted service fee payment up front and could not give me a round about estimate over the phone.   which I didn't like.   Ray's gave me a worst case and best case price which I understood could have been more depending on what they found,   Ray's gets 5 stars all the way,  I highly recommended them.

I talked to the receptionist a bit and was able to fix on my own.

I was a bit late, but he was so kind, he didn't seem upset at all. Repaired the bearing assembly, cleaned out the ENTIRE thing and made sure it ran good as new before he was finished! I AM SO HAPPY! I can't stress how nice it is to work with company's like this. You won't regret it. Fast, knowledgeable and professional! Oh, and affordable. Thank you!

Fridge stopped cooling. Ray was able to come out promptly and fix the problem very quickly. I was satisfied with the cost of service...it was sure better than having to buy a new or used fridge.

I found it very difficult to locate someone who was a small business owner that would work on front loading machines. I could go with the larger companies and have but for several reasons I prefer the independent business owners. Ray's Appliance Repair was just the business for me. The only complaint is that the office does not tell you a between time to show up. That would have been a real concern if I was unable to be home all day. I am able to be here and do what I need to so it was not as hairy for me to accommodate that. However, Ray would call to at least try to give me a heads up on both occasions. He is extremely polite, professional and gets the job done right. I have no hesitations referring him or calling him should I need to.

They are very nice, they repaired it one year ago and again this year. They are honest people. I like them because they will tell you if it can be repaired or not. They let you know the cost and will suggest whether or not they can fix it.

House was recently struck by lightning. Called Ray as we have used them in the past. The dishwasher electronics were damaged by the lightning. He gave an estimate for insurance purposes. We have had issues with our washer and dryer so we asked him to take a look at those as well. He obliged graciously. He determined that the lightning had damaged the washer fuse, and the dryer had issues with the drum. He was able to fix the dryer in minutes and recommended DIY maintenance we could do to help the life of the dryer. We would use Ray again without hesitation.

I was having a problem with my refrigerator. At that time, I had an American Home Shield. They called him. He came over and replaced the part, but it actually did not repair the problem. Then, it turned out later that there was a service pulling for my refrigerator, and the manufacturer swapped it up with a new one. He was nice and tried to fix it. When that was not the problem, he refunded the labor fee. He seemed honest and straightforward. All I paid for was the part in that case.
