The service is not worth what they charge you. We had them come clean our new home before we moved in. We outlined to the customer service rep that we wanted a deep clean before we moved in our furniture. He quoted me 5 hours to clean an empty house. Please note that they also charge you by man hours, not actual hours to clean. We had 5 ladies come out and clean the house for an hour. This was not made clear with the quote. They left dust on the shelves in the bathrooms and closets, cobwebs in the corners of the ceilings and windows, and bugs and dirt in the light fixtures. Our baby crawled across the hardwood floor after they left, and his hands and knees were black after a few minutes. Would not recommend, and will not be using them again.

They use a checklist and provide the staff with detailed instructions on what I expect with each cleaning. I have a whole house cleaning and a partial cleaning. They are priced differently for obvious reasons.
Typically, they do a great job. If I notice a problem, I simply call them and the next time, everything is exactly as I asked.
I don't feel the need to micro-manage their cleaning techniques; they seem to do a good job without that.
While I think the service is a expensive, they are reliable and I do not have to constantly find new people to train. To me, that's worth the extra cost.

The cleaning is done well. Those sent to my home do a great job. However there is poor treatment by those in management. They are not responsive to those they hire. There is inconsistency and unreasonableness in where they are sent, often taking them miles out of the way. Others in those areas could be given the work and be much closer. Gas is expensive. Management argues with the workers on distance from their home, strictly going by internet mileage. That is often misleading.
There have been two instances of tips not being given when stated clearly on the check the amount and purpose. They only give those tips when called on it by me or the worker.
This company has hired some excellent workers, then they treat them with disrespect. They are hurting their own reputation when they do that.

Didn't speak English well so did not understand whAt I was asking. Surface cleaned what was easy to get to but nothing beyond even though this was for deep clean. Each time they came different people so had issues with the dogs. Dogs barked at door they left because they did not know dogs. This was discussed upfront, need same people .

Like: friendly staff and were doing a good job. Dislike: W eleft the house 2 hrs before the end of the cleaning and only the floor was left to do. I later understand there was a concern wih the floor (haze) and therefore they needed more time. As this was the first time I had an experience with MaidPro this was the perfect opportunity for earning my trust. Way would have been to call me to discuss approach and not just charge the full time for the clean with no communication. It is not about the money it is aboutearning trust. Now it just feels like the only thing the company wants to do is charge more money. I was called to ask for professional cleaning of the floors but have not heard anythig from the requested quote. Also I would get a USD 25 credit, which I didnt receive. All and all there were some good opportunities to show the service side of the business and the company failed to deliver on this end. This is really a shame. A call to discuss the floor issue or finishing 30 minutes ahead of schedule would have provided a HUGELY different experience. Now I wonder whatelse will come up where the company will charge me for. So now more focussed on the charges rather than enjoying the provided service. Too bad, really is.

After reading my earlier Angie's List review, the company called and said they were under new management and would like to provide me with a complementary review to make up for the earlier experience. I agreed, and they came and did a great job.
Everything was clean, and it was a very easy experience (scheduling, getting a key to them, etc). The cleaner smelled wonderful, and they even managed to get places I struggle with (shower doors, stubborn tile) cleaned. I'm giving it a B, because their prices are still a little high for me (even though this one was free and appreciated), and when it comes cleaning there's always going to be a deeper clean that's possible. But overall, I would recommend them based on this more recent experience.

I don't feel like wasting too much time on this company writing a lengthy review... I will just stay away from them. We have small house 1600 square feet, we had been paying a cleaning lady $50 to come once a week and clean the house, and she did a great job. But unfortunately she did not have enough clients and had to take a full time job, leaving us without a house cleaner.
We reluctantly hired maidpro... they charged basically double to do less thorough job, and for the first time they charge almost double the weekly visit. The first person they sent barely spoke English and could not communicate with my wife. The second one spoke English cleaned a little better but not what I would call professional, definitely not worth the money.
She also herself admitted that the first cleaner had not done the thorough job they were supposed to, and she (the second one) doing the follow up visit could not redo it because she was not supposed to come for that long.
Also almost everything you ask is extra, fridge, oven etc, I'm talking like another $25
I figured out that hourly they were charging me around $28 but only paying the cleaning ladies barely above minimum wage, the rest goes to overheard. Unfortunately I must admit many of the "cleaning services" operate the same way.
Good cleaning help at a fair price is almost impossible to come by, shocking when you consider the unemployment rate...

Overall, I was disappointed with the experience. Before you get your house cleaned, they send a questionnaire (how many pets, how big, etc). This is how they determine the price. We were completely honest, we have 3 cats, our house is small, we keep it fairly neat and have few knick knacks. They also provide tips for how to enjoy your house cleaning (basically telling you to lower your expectations and not be home during the cleaning)- it even led us to believe we should do some pre-cleaning before the maid came in. So we left our house completely picked up (dishes were done, laundry, etc) and fairly clean (beds made, no stuff laying around). The floors and surfaces were the main thing we wanted to cleaned before we hosted a party. We bought a three hour service. We only have a 1365 sq feet home, and were charged over $230 for the three hour cleaning (a steep rate if you ask me). They sent people out to our house to clean, then I got a call that they weren't done, and needed an extra $75 to do the floors. This was appalling to me. We were honest on the survey they sent to get an estimate, when they quoted us we expected that to be the amount for the house cleaning. To me, if the maid was able to get it done, it was either a productivity issue or a bad estimate. We shouldn't have to fork out more money for either of those errors. When I spoke to the guy, it sounded like this was something they frequently did.

They did a good job on the sinks (the chrome was shiny), bathtub, and shower door was cleaner then I've ever been able to get it. Overall, it was nothing special and not worth the money to me.
I've seen them feature Groupons for a fraction of the price we were charged. I wrote a review about the service for the company when they solicited the feedback, but nothing was done to fix the situation. They try to push signing up for a regular service, but I told them this was a one-time thing for a party, but if they did a good job I would consider signing up. After this experience I have no interest in using them again.

We are moving from a rental home and were just notified that it needs to be shown the next day for buyers. They set a time to come in the evening the same day we called. Only one cleaner was available so the manager also came and cleaned. of course they never said that they only had one cleaner. The company said they could handle the job and did what they had to do. i am very impressed with their kindness and professionalism. They were prompt, nice and very fast. They took a lot of stress off of us and performed very well. we have signed up for weekly service with them. And will continue with them at our new home.

Most of work was good. They kept missing an area and I kept asking them to do it and they kept saying next time. Changed radio station so had to go back and find the station I wanted. One time dumped dirty water into shower and didn't clean it. This was many years ago. Date above is just a guess. Only had them here 3 times. Got tired of complaining.

Start up was a little rough, had to call to get an estimate (due to a zip code issue when attempting this on their website), then after going through the checklist of what I wanted cleaned over the phone with an agent, I was told I'd get a call back in 10 minutes with the estimate. I did have to call them the next day to request the estimate again. After a little back and forth, they did provide me an estimate of $248 to clean 2 of my 6 bedrooms, all 4 full baths, 2 living areas, kitchen, foyer, stairs, and laundry room. My estimate included an extra charge to have my double oven cleaned (I think the first oven was $25 and the second they did give me a discount on). I was very pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule me, within a day of the estimate. I have 2 teens and 2 tweens, and I'm a working full time single mom, so while we don't have a lot of crap, we did have a lot of dust and just general disarray. No matter how much design I put into a chore chart for my kids, nothing is ever done up to snuff and anyone who has kids knows the depressing feeling of coming home after work and finding things chaotic. This cleaning was something I decided I deserved, however, I insisted they clean their own bedrooms, so those were not included in the cleaning. Fast forward to my arrival home from work the day of cleaning. My meticulous eye was immediately pleased to see vacuumed floors, dustless window sills, and a nicely polished foyer. Positive! Kitchen, beautiful! I could have cried! I had not even included dishes, but they did wash and neatly stack the few dishes that were in the sink and the whole kitchen, including double oven, had a spit shine that made me smile ear to ear. The master bedroom also had this same luster, everything dusted and orderly placed, bed made, sills dusted, floor vacuumed. It was the thing every working person longs to come home to! I can't say enough about the value in just that alone. The master bath was just as meticulously attended to. Even things I had left out in my haste were put away and the surfaces were sparkling. Tub and shower, excellent, toilet closet pristine, trash cans emptied. Even the laundry room was ordered and shined. I will keep this service for as long as I can afford it. If you are on the fence about it, just do it, it is worth it. Yea, the kids should clean the house better, yea it's money that could be used elsewhere. But at the end of the day, peace is what matters. The only complaint I would make is that 3 of the 4 bathrooms did not get touched, and the other bedroom downstairs did not either. I attribute this to a human mis-communication, as there is simply no way anyone who took as much care and time in the job that they did in my home, would have purposely decided to blow off the rest of the job. There was too much attention to detail for me to think that. So, I contacted the company this morning (the morning after the cleaning) and told them how pleased I was with the service, but noted the rooms left off. They kindly removed about $50 from my bill and that was satisfactory to me. I also got their assurance that those rooms would be cleaned at my service the following week. I am doing a weekly service for now, then switching after the next visit to a bi-weekly (at $145), as I think this will be enough to get my kids in the groove of maintenance. I fully recommend Lakeland MaidPro and am glad I could give a review. Yari and Victoria did a TREMENDOUS job and I look forward to my next service and coming home to that peaceful aura that only a truly clean house can give.

I booked 3 hours to clean the blinds. Approx 6 were very dirty & needed extra cleaning (not dusting). She broke one of the blinds & said the company would call me to replace it...to date, noone has called me. I asked the cleaner to just clean the grunge, not to spend so much time on the picky stuff. It took her about an hour to understand what I wanted and she did not finish the blinds in the 3 hours. She was not as fast a cleaner as I thought she should have finished the job in the time allotted.

The 2 women who came out used inferior products to clean my walls. I had products for them to use but they declined. After doing my room, the walls were still yellow. I showed them with my product what the walls would like and it worked much better. They had a very bad attitude the whole time and still refused to use their products. They have offered another hour of service but I haven’t been able to find time yet to use them.

Pay about $145 per clean for a 3300 sq. foot home. A little pricey, but the work done in the initial two cleanings has been superior to the individual that we have used in the past

Since I live out of town, I contacted MaidPro in order to clean my parents home after the completion of some remodeling work. Both of my parents are elderly and my mother is in hospice. I requested that the home be cleaned thouroughly given my mother's condition and to also contact me if anything seemed wrong after the work performed by the contractors. The cleaning crew called me immediately and told me of issues they encountered while cleaning the home. MaidPro's crew stayed in my parents home the entire day cleaning and ensuring that all was ready for my parents to move back in. I was very happy with their service, their management, level of professionalism and their turn around.
