The first visit to our house was just to measure the space. A couple of weeks later, they came to the house to install the shower. Things did not go as planned. The mounting of the metal frames was different than what the installer was used to doing. This caused them to drill multiple holes in the tile that were not needed. Before they could proceed with installing the glass enclosure, the tiles needed to be replaced. Lakeland Glass hired another company to come out and do the tile repair. These folks came out to the house three times. First, to determine the scope of the work. Second, to remove damaged tiles and install new tiles. Third, to grout the tiles. Lakeland Glass came out again to try to install the glass enclosure. They were able to complete the installation this time; however, one of the glass panels was about an inch to narrow. They had to have a new piece of glass cut. They made a subsequent visit to install the new piece of glass. A week or so after the installation, I found a hairline crack in one of the shower tiles.  The crack is coming from where one of the metal frames is screwed into the tile.  I believe the installers knew that they cracked the tile but they failed to fix it or mention it to me.  Instead they completed the installation.  In summary, the quality of their work is fair at best.

had light fixture on boat that got broken lens. could not get new lens or even new cap for light that holds lens from sea ray and replacement light was $200. asked lakeland glass if they could custom cut me a piece of glass to replace. they said no problem on a friday afternoon and were even able to match the frosted glass that was in the original fixture. offered to do same day but i picked up next am (saturday!!) and only charged $5. it was small piece of glass and likely all i paid for was short labor time, however i did not know you could still get anything custom done for that price. their willingness to figure this out for me and do so quickly and the fact they offer saturday hours make me say they are stars!! i have some other glass needs upcoming and they will indeed keep my business.

I went about 4:15 today (7/9/13) to order a glass top for a kitchen table, expecting that it would take a few days. However, Lakeland Glass and Mirror were able to cut it right away. It fits perfectly, and looks beautiful! Everyone there was friendly and very professional. I could not be more pleased, and would certainly use them again and recommend them to my friends.
