I have a home warranty company so they pick who comes. Quit honestly I don't think rating those companies is exactly fair because sometimes they come from 60 or 80 miles away which makes no sense at all. So they can't get here quick. I would say they did a fair job. It was probably B service. That was covered with my warranty so I just paid kind of like an insurance co-pay or service call fee. I think I paid $70. If I hadn't had the warranty I am not sure what it would have been. Might have been a couple of hundred or something. I would recommend that they improve on, more than anything competence of the service.

Fixed completely and to my satisfaction within 2 business hours of my calling the company.
I have used this company in the past on several occasions.  The owner, Tracy Raven, is a real gentleman.  He is very professional and proficient.  He always gives it to me straight.  I never got the impression that he was trying to run up his bill or provide services that were not necessary.
One of my concerns in hiring people who come to my home is the character and background that person.  I have known Mr. Raven for many years.  His kids are in school with mine, and we attend the same church.  I have no problem leaving him in my home if we are not there.  He is a good man and he runs a good business.

He recommended a whole new system at the cost of 8,000.00. We requested a second opinion and were told we only needed one part replaced. Joe Cool had to come back for another inspection, then installation of part. The lead person came to install and told us they have had problems in the past with this employee coming out for an inspection and making it into a sales call. Finally, after a THREE WEEK process the air was repaired for 75.00

Had to replace air conditioning system....even though we had a home warranty....it really wasn't useful as the system was ancient and every time it broke....they fixed it.  No matter how many days it took....and the inconvenience.  So we bit the bullet and had a new one put it.  The service people were on time....and left our home as clean as they found it.  I would definitely use Joe Cool again and would recommend them to anyone.


UPDATE!!!!
Our HVAC system was finally inspected last week by county inspector....and guess what??  It didn't pass the inspection.
The return air exchanger needs to be pulled from where it is and moved...the AC is overfused....can't make this up.

And when my husband called yesterday....they couldn't even find us in their system right away!!!  So we have been left hanging!
My husband was told - "Someone will get back to us."  So...would I ever recommend Joe Cool....NO...NO....NO!!!!

Overall I was very satisfied with the performance.

They are polite and dependable. In the past I got a new ac unit from them and the maintenance agreement.
