Go Mini's Portable Storage

Delivery of GoMini was on the exact date and time they said. And they put it in the exact position I wanted, which was a difficult maneuver. Because I needed it to fit on my concrete driveway, but not block my garage door. After dropping it from the truck they used a dolly to manually push the container into position just inches from my fence and a foot from my house. They did it during a light rain and it didn't take long, maybe 15 minutes.

They charged $149 a month plus some move in charge. The experience was excellent. I called them and they brought the mini pod immediately. It was clean and nice. They parked it perfectly. I called them when I needed to have it removed and they were her right away. They were very polite. I had no problem with them. Their pricing was probably reasonable.

Move over, PODS! There's a new portable storage unit company in town and they are the best! I am so happy we found Go-Mini's. We are a family of 5 and were in the process of moving. Hiring movers was, unfortunately, out of the question due to costs, so we needed to move and quot;DIY.and quot; We knew it would be most sensible to get a storage unit that we can move things into at our own pace (and then rent a moving truck the day of the actual move) - so this is what we did. After researching PODS, Pack-Rat, and Go-Mini's, we knew Go-Mini's was for us because they not only offered us a 20 foot storage unit (4 feet bigger than PODS), the rate was competitive. It was far better than the competitors, especially for the size unit we got. My husband was a mover once (college) and can tell you, 4 feet, when you're talking moving space - makes a HUGE difference. Go-mini's rents their units out for as long as a month or as little as you need. For us, we decided getting the unit 2 weeks before our move-date was a good one.
Our initial fee was $245.03 and that covered the unit rental as well as transportation from their Lakeland facility to us in St. Petersburg. It was dropped off in exactly the location we wanted. The unit was clean. And best of all, we noticed that it made it through Tropical Storm Debby without any leaking (the day TS Debby hit the Tampa area happened to be the day we were stuck moving the remainder of our things onto a moving truck!) So these units are GREAT, sturdy, and clean.
On the day we closed on our old house, Go-Mini's was there, as requested, by 10am to take our unit to our next house. No problems there. We were charged $80.25 in transportation to go from St. Pete up to New Port Richey (we knew of this, costs for transporting were a little more due to them coming all the way from Lakeland).
Once we unloaded all of our belongings from the unit, we called for them to come pick up ASAP. We called on Wednesday evening and they were here Friday morning to pick it up (another charge of $80.25).
Overall we are extremely happy with Go-Mini's and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a portable storage container - especially if you need a large container!! Getting a portable storage unit was, without a doubt, the best decision we made. Since our move-out day was June 24th/25th, if we had to pack all of our things into a truck during that time, many things would have been ruined due to the torrential downpours of TS Debby (not to mention we would have probably killed ourselves trying to get everything done in a day).
Getting the storage unit enabled us to pack on our own time, making it more efficient for us, and saving us from breaking our backs trying to do it all in one day. I can't say enough about Go-Mini's and the great service we got. And many many thanks to the franchise owner, Brian, for all of his help!! Brian is the person you will likely talk to when you call. He was great and offered an exceptional level of customer service. Thanks again and to anyone considering getting a portable storage unit, look at Go-Mini's!! They are the best!!
