I called Geek squad after cable co. had installed a new wireless modem and my printer would no longer print.  I was told by cable co. that I had to deal with my own devices once they installed their modem.   The printer was fitted with the correct new name and password for my new device, but still was not printing.   When I called Geek squad, I explained all this to them and arranged for them to come in a few days and correct the situation.  

The representative arrived on the scheduled day, a tad bit ahead of time, but had called first.  He checked over my computer system and the wireless printer - and did a configuration printout.  He discovered that the printer was not set to the proper ID address of the new modem, so it would not receive the wireless info sent, even with correct name and password installed.  He then  had to un-do what was set  and re-set  the printer,  to be in sync with the new modem and rest of system.

He did a great job, and I am very pleased.

Fabulous....discussed ways to solve problems we encountered and explained everything being done as thoroughly as possible.; cleaned up and packed up everything perfectly and assisted me in repacking items that I needed to return that I had ordered for parts of the installation

I am not a computer savvy person, and this was my first experience with Geek Squad.  I signed up (and paid for) Geek Squad support at the very same time that I purchased my computer and printer at Best Buy.  They have different plans/durations to choose from -- I went ahead and bought the 2 year plan, because I know I'll need them.  I was very impressed with Geek Squad's services and staff, and I felt that the price was very reasonable (considering ALL the support you get, including 24~7 by phone!). The computer specialist that came to my home was very professional, knowledgeable, and thorough.  He was totally patient with my seemingly "dumb questions"  -- I felt very comfortable asking questions because he came across as an 'educator' who was eager to teach and help me.  So far, I couldn't be happier with Geek Squad.

Was extremely nice, not arrogant.  Showed me respect, and answered any questions I had as he explored possible problems.  I really didn't expect the problem to be fixed because I am fairly knowledgable, however after exploring he did find the problem, and fixed the issue.

Everything about the experience was great - from the advice on what to buy and the site survey specialist.  Definitely recommend them.

I love them.  They are wonderful.  I really like their policy where if they have to come out the third time, they give us a full credit for a new appliance and no questions asked and that is great.  Their prices are very competitive and they will actually match any online price.  The workers that came out were very pleasant, very knowledgeable and prompt.  I would highly recommend them.

They were very nice and professional. I took advice that it would be cheaper for me to buy a new refrigerator than it would be to repair the one I had. I was appreciative of their honesty.

It was complete installation. They never told me I needed a fill line. He told me not to worry about it and that he had plenty. He explained everything to me. He told me to throw out the first tray of ice because it would be bad. He and his son did the work and I was very pleased. They did a really, really good job.
