I hired Patrick to paint my newly installed front doors because he was recommended by the door company. Patrick did an excellent job using paint I had left from my previous doors. I few months later I began having an issue with the door finish. He came and diagnosed the problem and repainted the doors with a different paint formula, correcting the situation at no additional labor cost. I love my new doors and appreciate Patrick’s integrity and commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

I’ve used Florida General Coatings for several projects at my house. They sealed my house and painted it 4 years ago and it still looks brand new. They also coated my pool deck. They recently completed my garage project. Drywall replacement, painted the walls, & epoxy coated the floor. I highly recommend Patrick and his team. They do excellent work at a fair price!

We hired Patrick several months ago to paint our house. We received his name from our neighbors as he has been painting their houses over the years and had nothing but great things to say about his work and his character. We obtained 3 estimates for the job. Patrick was about $200 lower than one other quote and about 1k lower than the other. After meeting Patrick we were impressed by his professionalism and his heart so we hired him. He was so patient with us in picking out colors and told us to take our time to find the right one, his concern was about making sure we were happy in the long run even though we were delaying work for him. He helped us throughout the whole process as well. We have zero regrets and have since then hired him for additional jobs such as sealing the driveway and pressure washing/painting the pool deck. Tried to get him to re-do our pool screen but he knows his limitations which is why he’s so great at doing what he loves, painting. Although he does other repair jobs, he won’t do something he’s not able to ? deliver. We would trust him with any project really if he says he can do it, he takes his time and is so precise in his work. Price point is very fair. We are blessed to have been introduced to him, highly recommended and our house looks beautiful!

We hired Patrick to repaint the whole house and remove the popcorn ceilings and apply texture. He also repaired damage to drywall in our garage ceiling and painted that as well. We were very pleased with his work and his prices are very fair. Last month I hired him to rehab a house I inherited from my parents. He removed several areas of damaged drywall and repaired, painted over stained baseboard and trim, painted the entire house inside and out, including ceilings and doors, and put a new coating on the porch and patio floors. He also coordinated door replacement and other repairs that needed to be done to the house as well. Patrick is very consciousness and is very easy to work with as far as getting the work done and scheduling. Needless to say, I would definitely recommend Patrick, owner of Florida General Coatings.

After seeing the finished results of our neighbors newly painted house, I had to find out who did the work. The answer, Florida General Coatings. I contacted Patrick, the owner, who came by to assess what was needed to bring the exterior of the house back to life. He went over what needed to be done and the steps needed to do it. I didn’t realize all that went into painting a house. The price quoted to do the work and the Resilience Sherwin Williams paint was very reasonable, considering the size of the house and all the prep and trim work. Today, my 30 year old house looks brand new!! Thank you, Patrick for a great looking house and the cleanest driveway and sidewalk (pressure washing). After seeing the great work Patrick has done , my neighbor has hired him as well.

Very well! Patrick assessed the area, and explained how he would replace the damaged drywall with green board, sand and paint "Kilz" on the stained areas, peel away "bubbled" areas where the previous paint has separated from the drywall, and spray texture over the entire ceiling. He did the work over the course of a few days, allowing areas to dry out before proceeding to the next step. The entire patio was cleaned and swept of all debris at the end of each work day. It is a large patio ceiling - about 1,000 SF. Patrick would always let me know by text, email or phone call when he would be arriving. He had all the necessary professional equipment for raising up and leveling the drywall and blowing out and smoothing the texture material. I chose to save some money by painting the repaired ceiling myself. Patrick gave me guidance as to what products to buy, and left up the masking tape and protective plastic sheeting that he applied to protect the house from the texture bits. That really helped me save time when I painted. I highly recommend Florida General Coatings. You can trust Patrick to give you an accurate explanation of the work that needs to be done, excellent workmanship, and a fair price.
