Told them needed ac clutch replaced. A/C would come on then go out and randomly back on. Was told they needed to be the ones to diagnose it to make sure. The mechanic looked at it while husband stood there, no gauges put on it. Mechanicssaid "black death" the clutch was shot. Then after we had them diagnose it and it was the ac clutch. Told us they couldnt warranty just that as they recommended a complete ac system replacement 1100.00 quote. Even though we just had compressor that is under warranty from previous mechanic less than 2 yrs ago. Said could change just clutch with no warranty for 300.00 Decided to go with clutch replacement as my husband has been in ac business for 40 yrs. We were told about an hour to do job. I dropped off truck to be told it would be ready by lunchtime. I called at 2pm and was told wrong part was ordered they were waiting on correct part should be done by closing time. Went down to get truck after getting the call it was ready. When I arrived the office people said they could not give me a receipt as lightening hit their computer. I asked if I could at least take a picture with my phone. The girl asked the guy and was hesitant but said ok. They would email me one once computers were fixed. Still never recieved one. Literally 1/2 mile down road truck a/c went out! Same problem and now 300.00 later. I immediately called and was told well that was the risk I took as they said no warranty!! I could not believe they literally told me this! I immediately called bank to stop payment on check until we could speak with management. Matt called my husband to say the entire system was fouled, and compressor was fried. Needed entire system replaced 1100.00 Well that we knew was not the case. It did come on and go off randomly. Same thing it was doing before we took it in to them. After literally googling the issues, and ZERO MONEY, we found the issue, a simple adjustment. One that any mechanic SHOULD KNOW, and surely one should complete when changing out an a/c clutch!!! My air is working beautifully NO THANKS TO ELITE and them trying to screw us first out of 300 then trying to tell us 1100.00 to fix it! First and LAST TIME I take my truck to them! I have a written estimate on their letterhead as they are now stating they never offered clutch replacement only as they dont do that. Can not attach but will provide upon request. My a/c us working perfect after husband corrected their poor installation and not properly adjusting the settings. But said we needed an entire system for 1100.00!

Car was serviced three times at the dealer with over $1,000 in repairs. Over a year later, the engine continued to stall at stop lights which was the original problem. Out of major concerns for passenger safety, the car was brought to Elite Automotive who isolated the issue and replaced the defective part in less than 24 hours. Car is no longer stalling.

He fixed My Moms car, when other repair place car was not worth fixing, he's done a lot of work on my vehicles over the many years.
