They did an excellent job, they did a great job and they were professional.

It's been 4 months roof is still leaking, after repeated attempts to get someone to come out and fix it. Repeated phone calls, and emails always promise service this week, It has been 18 weeks still not repaired.

Good. As of now no leaks. Coming back to install flashing.

Sales man was great. Brought samples of multiple different brands.  Explained the process, answers phone, etc.  Price was a little more than others but they had an interesting pitch on the flat roof, so we went with it.

The whole project took 4 or 5 days and it was supposed to take 2. no rain. 

They said it is typical to have $500-600 in wood cost but you cant know until you do it.  I know that they usually go over budget on this, so I anticipated $800-1000.  Total wood cost ended up at $1920, adding 25% to the estimate.  They charge 6 dollars a foot for the 1x12s.  I asked for them to please take of 1 dollar a foot and they refused.

One of the workers stepped through the ceiling and had to get stiches on his arm.  They took him to the hospital and had him back up on the roof later that day.  No sick pay for him!  Get back up there!

They cleaned the room and offered to have the ceiling patched textured and painted free of charge.  I said okay.  Later they said this wasn't doable, because their guy could not make it look right because the ceiling was old and sagging.  I tried to have them pay their guy to do the whole sagging section, only 1 and 1/2 sheets of drywall, or 1/3 of the room and they refused.  They gave me just 300 off the final bill.

A month after they were paid and the job was finished, I have found a couple dozen nails in the yard, and on the porch and driveway.

I also found a substantial amount of a deep red caulking material on the windows and the storm shutters and the window sill in the back around the flat roof.  I sent pictures to the salesman, my main point of contact and called him.  He said he would send someone out to clean it asap.  2 weeks later its still there.  He promised it would be cleaned on Friday.  Toda is Monday and it is still there.

I was wavering between a B or a C grade for them, but the lack or customer service after the job was done and they were paid really disappointed me. 

From the beginning Collis roofing performed beyond any expectations. The salesman, Gary, met us at our home with some research he had already done on  our house. We hadn't even suggested a deal, merely a quote, and he was ready to go.

We weren't ready at the time of the first meeting, so I had some other quotes. Collis was a one of the higher prices. But based on what had already been provided, plus a second meeting to verify costs, I was more that ready.

We agreed on the re-roof, and were told that it would be the following week and it would take 2 days. Well the crew showed up right on time. I received confirmation the previous day and everything went as planned. Although they were finished with almost everything it 1 day. They did have some final touched to complete the next day. And it took thru the next weekend to get our solar panels back up. Then the construction manager showed up to make sure that we were happy with everything. Which we were!!

I would recommend Collis Roofing to anyone. I have even volunteered their name to a couple of friends who haven't' even talked about their roofs. The did an outstanding job and were very professional.
