He was supposed to do all the work himself but he ended up subcontracting the work out. He measured the wall wrong and made it too long. He quit the day before the cabinets came in and it turned out the cabinets didn't fit so I had to buy new cabinets to make it work. He just left a letter in our home telling us that he was quitting. He left all his materials in the house. The other contractors who have looked at the work have told me that the sheet rock was the wrong size as well. I would definitely NOT recommend him.
