They have boarding as well and they are awesome. We have three dogs.
Horribly disappointing. We researched Simmons on Angie's List and scheduled a tour of facility which was impressive. Also had a free day care for them to a**** pets. Also checked them out on cameras by pool area. After this visit, they provided us with information about how each had behaved and adjusted. We left our pets believing they would be in good care.
Upon our return we picked up our dogs and just got a and quot;they were goodand quot;: and a goodbye. When we got home we found 2 areas on one dog that looked with swellings with infection. We had an appointment already scheduled with our own vet for the next day. It was determined that it was probably and quot;hot spotsand quot; with the cause being any number of things. It was obvious to us when we took her home and to our vet, but Simmons never mentioned a word.
When we called Simmons we were referred to the and quot;hotel managerand quot; and it took 2 more calls for her to get back to us. We sent pictures of the problem to her. Dr. Simmons called a week later and as another Angie's List member noted, he is a slick talker.
He felt they got the best of care, that we should have brought our dog back the next day and that our dogs were very well taken care of. I don't think so and got a lecture about how good his facility is, how he partners with Novaris (a drug company) and that he would want to meet my husband and I face to face. As a dissatisfied customer now with vet bills, I asked him for a partial refund which he absolutely refused to do.
He also called our vet without our permission, took 2 weeks to get his medical records to us, also sent to 2 incorrect addresses and had also misidentified our dog's gender.
Our dog had numerous vet visits and was on medication for 3 months.
And btw, Dr. Simmons will vocally tell you about his new facility scheduled for Orlando, FL. God help any tourists who think their pets will be taken care of - imagine being out of town on vacation and facing this type of situation?
Shame on you, Dr. Simmons.
VACCINES WHICH WERE ADMINISTERED EVERY SIX MONTHS. THE TESTING AND
BLOOD DRAWING WHICH I NEVER AGREED TO WITH THE DOCTOR ALL SEEM
TOO MUCH TO ME, BUT DOCTOR SIMMONS MUST HAVE BEEN A TRAVELING
SALESMAN IN ANOTHER LIFE. HE CAN FAST TALK ANYONE INTO WHAT HE
IS SAYING.
I PAID THE OUTRAGEOUS BILL AND ASKED FOR MY $200 DEPOST FOR THANKS
GIVING.
NO MORE, DR SIMMONS.
YOU HAVE WRUNG US DRY.
I'M PUTTING THEM IN A SMALLER ROOM FROM NOW
