I have a mixed opinion about this company. It is a very small network of landscapers. It is a local company and owned by one of the men who comes to the house to work on the yard. When they first started they were terrific. They showed up every week, trimmed all the bushes and things. The trouble started when I asked if he could cut down a few small palm trees (Most were 4 feet tall) and he ended up not really finishing the job, ruining my fence in the process and just not showing up much every month. When he 'cut' down my small palms, he used a rope to tie around them and he used his mower to pull them up. Great, except there was not enough room to use the mower and he ended up bending about 10 of our fence posts! Not to mention he never bothered to tell me about it. He also never finished the job! He just left the roots. Even though our next step was to put grass down. However now we can't because we have to hire SOMEONE ELSE to finish the job. Not to mention he charged me $500.00 dollars to do the job. He's a really nice guy. He does an average job on the landscaping. I don't allow him to use the tractor/mower in our back yard anymore because it's too big to be used since we have a tiny backyard. And because he keeps running into my fence. He doesn't really go out of his way to make sure your yard is done. We have asked him several times if he could edge the grass. That was a month or 2 ago - it's never happened. The roots are still there. There is no sod laid. We have paid him extra and he knows that we will pay for anything that needs to be done. So money is not the issue. I have even offered to pay him beforehand to buy supplies. He says it's not necessary since he has everything. When I inquire as to when the issues will be addressed, he makes an excuse and in a very friendly manner he says he is 'going to d it but...' If we didn't have to have so much other work done, I give him a much higher rating. But since he isn't doing the job he was hired to do, I can't. I'd give him an overall score of B for what the yard looks like after they are done when they actually show up.
Description of Work: I pay 150.00 a month for a once a week landscaping job. He cuts the grass, trims the trees, sprays weed killer and trims the bushes.
