Sawgrass Moving and Relocation

Not good. Was under pressure at both ends of the move. Several boxes and loose items were never delivered. While unloading the truck, a glass item belonging to another customer was dropped next to my driveway where it shattered. The mover never even offered to clean it up. The driver of the moving truck, "Itay", was a jerk. He screamed into his cell phone a number of times while walking around outside in earshot of the whole neighborhood. Among the items broken during the move: a stained glass window art piece (13.5"x21"), my work desk, and a 100+ year old family heirloom rocking chair. Four items ended up in New Jersey and were shipped to me via U-haul one month after the move. When comparing the inventory list to the items/boxes that were delivered, I noticed the first page was missing. I texted the move coordinator, Johnathan, and requested that he find it so I could finish up the list and see what else is missing. He never followed through. On the day of delivery I was told verbally that I have ninety (90) days to file a claim. It was getting close to the deadline, but when I tried to contact the company for instructions on filing a claim, all phone numbers were no longer in use, including cell phone numbers. This includes the move coordinator. I paid good money for services not rendered, and many of my personal possessions are lost forever, some irreplaceable. So I got ripped off big time. This was my first, and most likely my last, experience with using a moving company!
