RUN from them if you are considering anything more than creating a disaster area in your yard. They came to me BEGGING for work, saying they needed work. Well, DAY THREE of what SHOULD have been a ONE DAY JOB (allways SAID he'd be there first thing in the morning...but first thing in HIS morning is pm) Day two...He "wasn't feelin' it" so didn't show up after I'd waited from 10am for his arrival. (HIS "not feelin' it" may have had something to do with receiving HALF his pay the previous evening) Day THREE, he was late, as usual, showed up around 4pm. After 1.5 hours work (dusk in otherwords) he was hemming and hawing, wanting to leave but wanted the greater share of his residual pay ...said he'd come back "later" to finish the job. I refused, explaining I had wasted a week waiting for him to show up, IF felled limbs were in the way of his continuing, I'd have those areas cleared by morning. He said, "screw it, I'll keep cutting: Evidently the PAYING customer (ME) p***** him off, because he proceeded to deliberately drop HUGE 20 inch diameter branches, some fully 30 feet long upon mine and my neighbors FENCES (yes 2 fences)....crushing them in the process. Came to me AFTER DARK, said he was leaving as he had finished. He was paid in full with my expectation that he'd finished the job as promised. Next day I noticed the HUGE amount of damage and tried to call him. His phone was "disconnected". So I called his "partner STEVE" and requested he come and fulfill his commitment to me as far as cutting up these branches and get them OFF the fence.Mid conversation Kenny grabs the phone and promised to be there the following weekend. He did not appear nor did he try and reach me by phone to explain his absence. I am going to pursue legal action against him and his company. RUN FROM THESE JOKERS, they're only out for money, they don't care if they destroy your property. In fact, they'll do so deliberately.
Description of Work: They came to ME looking for work. Just walked down the lane one day, speaking to the home owners trying to drum up work. They're initial estimate was TOO high so I said "no thanks". "Kenny" (the actual tree guy) returned a few weeks later stating he was in DIRE need of work, could He PLEASE do the job for 500.00. He had dropped his estimate so I agreed; feeling sorry that he was willing to work but couldn't find work. (STUPID ME!!) The deal was, top a large ficus tree, remove all the dead growth, and cut up the felled limbs into sections 6 ft. or less so that I could put them out for large garbage pick up. Were that what REALLY happened, I'd have been thrilled.....read on....
