Master Brick Pavers did a great job when it comes to extending my pavers, but when it comes to permitting and sealing they are lacking. After they finished installing my pavers they outsourced the sealing to another company. They came and sealed everything quickly and without issues. A month later I start noticing weeds popping up and several parts of my driveway and backyard. Sealing: Sealing pavers should prevent most weeds from growing due to the sealer going in between the cracks and hardening. I've had pavers sealed at least five times in previous homes by different companies and once by my own two hands. My parents have been sealing their pavers for at least 20 years. I even confirmed with neighbors in my same neighborhood and all of them said they either get no weeds or one or two pop up every few months. The neighbors sealed their home between a month and a year and a half ago. I found at least a dozen competitors websites in Broward county that say sealing prevents weeds. I contacted the company and they just kept giving me the runaround on the phone saying sealing pavers do not prevent weeds. Eventually several weeks later the owner showed up to take a look. All he did was give me the runaround and wasted 30 minutes of my time talking in circles. Everything I said in the previous paragraph in this review did not matter to him. We both also found an issue with a small part of the paver install that he said "This is ****** work". He also mentioned several times that he wanted to look at what I paid for the sealing After our conversation he left and never heard back from him or the company again. Not even for the paver install mistake or about his questions about payment. It's now been 3 months and weeds are growing several times faster and I'm out there at least every other day spraying for new weeds. When in the past I sprayed for a few weeds maybe once every 2 to 3 months. Wasted $1045 for sealing. Permits: Took about 5 months to get a permit which is not unusual right now due to the backup. But 2 to 3 months into getting the permit, the process got delayed because we had to fill out five more forms that they did not know about. They have done at least a dozen homes in my neighborhood in the last year and a half. So I don't understand how this happened.

Master Brick Pavers just completed the removal of our old pavers in our patio area and laying new concrete pavers, as well as making a walkway along the side of our house. From start to finish they were FANTASTIC. Chris was great from the time we met and was always on top of the job, and the workmanship of his team was superb. They did great work and came out the day after I called them. The work was completed in only 2 days. The billing was very convenient. I was very impressed with them and would use them again in the future.

We were blown away by Chris' service! Chris was fast on the estimate, fast to come by with brick samples, fast to schedule the time, and they did the work in 1 day. He and his workers were professional and competent and added value at every turn. The work is beautifully done and just as we planned it. The project presented a few challenges that Chris and his team went way above and beyond the agreed-to-job to help us solve, at no extra charge. Chris even called back a few weeks later to see how the sod was taking. I will be calling him back when we have the money saved to do a larger job in the back yard. I'll also add that any kind of paving work is pretty technical, and Master Pavers came in at half the price of another vendor, who said that since the job had to include a thin edge of concrete being applied to hold the pavers in place (a standard aspect of a job like this), I had to get a construction permit, a concrete truck, and the pay a much higher price (in addition to the double-rate of what Chris quoted). I checked with the home owners association and they said the extra stuff for the concrete was unnecessary, as it is common to do that with a small batch of hand-mixed concrete.
