I hired Magic Bubbles to pressure wash the tile roof on my 3/2 ranch style house, and clean the Chattahoochee pool patio. The pool deck looked good at first, but when it dried there were large areas here and there that had been missed.
The roof looks clean, but a job that normally takes the better part of a day to complete, was done in less than two hours, because they used and depended on very very strong chemicals (bleach) rather than the pressure washing process alone.
I contacted the company and told them that the pool patio did not look good and they sent someone to look at it. They agreed that it needed more work and sent a crew to do it. I gave them a check for one half ($127) of what was due,( $254) until I saw if the problem was corrected. When the patio dried off, it looked no better.
Several days after the roof was cleaned, a bigger problem surfaced. Some of the shrubbery close to the house, in the front and the back yard, started dying. I contacted the company and they said to send them pictures. I did. Their response was that it was only "chemical burn" from the roof run off, and they would recover if I would just trim them to encourage new growth. The damage was - and is - more serious than needing a little trim. I would need to cut the damaged ones down to about 6 inches. We went back and forth about the problem, and they finally agreed to replace the bushes in the front, after I forgave them for the dead ones in the back. When they realized what it was going to cost them to replace the damaged landscaping they backed out, and said they would forgive the $127 balance I owed. I didn't ask for that. I don't want that. I always pay what I owe. I can't begin to purchase 12 three foot tall bushes, have the damaged ones removed, and the new ones installed for $127.00. They came on to my property, made a huge mistake, damaged my landscaping, and expect me to accept that. I have tried to meet them part way, but have gotten nowhere. I should not be left with a big problem to solve and pay for, when I was not at fault.
This company does not stand behind their work. Anyone who would hire them, is taking a big risk.
