It is not often a company goes beyond your expectations and when they do it is not often that many folks get to hear about it. I want to thank Steve Mears and Lifetime Exteriors for going above and beyond in our transaction. Many companies talk about great customer service but fail to deliver after the contract is signed.....NOT so here! They have my future business.

Installed five impact windows on the front of my house. It went very well. I have no complaints whatsoever. One of the screens was damaged and I'm waiting for a replacement Which seems to be taking a little while.

Job started on schedule. We were advised that since these were replacement windows on an old house due to unforeseeable problems it may take 5 days. The job was completed in two days. The crew was exceptionally experienced, capable and polite. They even went to the lumber store to finish the interior of two new windows which was not part of the contract. We have worked with a lot of contractors and this ranked right up with the best.

All went well, except that the rain water drained off the the side closest to the middle of the house, rather than to the side of the house. A phone call of our concern and they promptly came out to investigate. They measured gutter with a level to verify that it was level and should drain rain to both sides. Due to the shape of the roof, most of the rain come into the gutter towards the middle of the house, ergo why most of the water was going down that downspout. I fashioned a crude blockage about half the height of the gutter, and it help to direct most of the water to the downspout at the side of the house. Problem solved. P.S. the structure is warranted for up to 175 mph winds.

They were willing to work with us. They just wanted the job really. A good company to work with.

They provide excellent customer service and follow up. I had a door handle break 4 years later and they replaced it an no extra charge.  I refer them to all of my friends.

Excellent.  I'm glad I read the reviews.  The overall rating was a "B" but I didn't let that bother me because I'm only concerned about the installation and products and they seemed to have an exceptional rating for those things.  
The sales rep Tom, came to my house and gave my husband and me an estimate.   He was prompt, clean and well spoken.  He knew his products and spent well over two hours with us explaining the various options and costs.  We settled for accordion shutters for 7 sets of sliding doors & 4 standard windows and aluminum panels for 22 10' tall windows.   He even worked with us for the initial deposit.
One of my issues was how long it would take.  I had no interest in waiting months for an install.  Tom wrote in the contract that the items would be installed within 12 weeks or I would receive a full refund of my deposit. No questions asked.   I know 12 weeks seemed like a long time, but that was my idea.  We took into consideration the Christmas and New Year Holidays.   Our contract was signed on December 9.   On January 19 the panels were delivered and on January 30, 2015 I received a final inspection for the completed installation.   Which means that the turn around time was a total of 7 weeks and that includes the time for the holidays!!!
The installer was punctual and cleaned the areas where he worked every day before he left.  He arrived promptly each day he worked here and when he did fabrication time at the factory he explained to me why he was not here.   The installer also "stenciled" numbers on my aluminum panels and provided us with a schematic so we would know what panels went on what window.     When the job was complete the installer spent time with me (grandma) showing me how to close, secure and latch the panels.   These are great products!  Easy to use.
When the county inspector arrived I asked him to be tough on the inspection because I want to be safe if we have a storm.  He checked the work thoroughly and passed the work without hesitation.  I asked him how it looked and he said "very, very good".
My husband is a contractor and said he thought the tracks for the panels were nice and straight and he liked the grade of metal they used for their products.  
I'm glad I used this company.  It's local and I like supporting my neighborhood businesses.

From start to finish - we were pleased with the professionalism and expertise of this company. The sales department could have sold us and extra window but stated that the window was already up to standards so there was no need to replace it. I admired this quality. This showed us that they were there to make the sale but would not give us bad information to increase their profit. This was the second time we used this company and were extremely pleased the first time. The installers showed up on time with all the necessary equipment and supplies to do the job completely. The job was flawless. We sailed through the county inspection without any deficiencies.
I would recommend this company to anyone and I have.

I had difficulty finding someone to just replace my front entry door.  But from the moment I contacted this company they were respondsive and just plain awesome.  Beau did the estimate was helpful and informative.  Alex the installer was late for appt time
but did call to inform me.  Alex was friendly, professional and was responsive to all my questions.  It was a pleasure to see that he enjoyed his work and did an excellent job...alot of attention to detail and even replaced a piece of baseboard in the house that was
damaged by previous doors leakage.

Every step of the process was handled with professionalism and in a timely manner. We were informed each step of the way. The workmanship was as described. We felt each employee was knowledgeable about the product. The inspection with the county passed on the 1st visit. We have so much confidence in the company that we have now contracted with them to replace all our other windows (14 in total).

They are excellent and really good. They keep you informed...like the wall, I didn't know that they could do the wall. When I mentioned it to them, they said that I don't have to worry about it and they will take care of it for you. They were willing to handle things that you don't have to worry. They explained and called us and told us when they will do the procedure. They even stop over to make sure that the guy who was putting it in is putting it right and everything was going to be okay. They have wonderful customer service. If we call for complain they send somebody right out.

It was perfection from start to finish. Prompt appointment times, installers very professional and follow up upon completion.

Steve Mears, the owner, came to our home and gave us an excellent presentation of his product.The shutters are made of high quality material and have heavy duty attachment hardware. The price was was comparable to others we had received from several different contractors. We decided on Lifetime because their price included everything upfront, there were no add ons for Building permits etc. The installers did a great job completing the project in one day. Several weeks later we noticed one slight problem with one of the window shutters. Steve and his crew came back and promptly corrected the problem. I would definitely recommend Lifetime Exteriors to anyone looking for hurricane products.

The product is of the absolute highest quality, the workmanship beyond reproach. Lifetime exteriors was prompt, efficient, fair, and responsive to all of my questions and needs. This is the third time I have used this company for similar services and wouldn't consider using anyone else
