Peter Grenier, L&J's construction manager, is very thorough and knowledgable, and an apparent excellent carpenter by trade. Our project starter in the last half of February and moved right along thru mid-May. Then progress came to a screaching halt, subcontractors started calling me and knocking on my door complaining about non-payment. Some additional minor progress has occurred in the last tow months, but everytime I ask Mr. Grenier for his comprehensive plan to bring the projected to successful closure with all of the subs paid in full, he is non-responsive. The quality of the work done to date is high, the project management disasterous.
Description of Work: L&J is the General Contractor for a remodleing project that included building an enclosed outdoor cabana, re-roofing the main house and dock, renovating the inground pool, and several other smaller projects. I have paid all but about 5% of the contract value to L&J's agent - Accurate Woodworks. This was to be a "6-week" project, we are now at the end of month 5, the work is not complete, and there are at least 4 liens by subcontractors on my property for non-payment by L&J.
