Green Turtle Fiberglass Refurbishing

They are friendly when they come out for the estimate. After that communicate was almost impossible. Did the work during bad weather. They made promises, didn't keep any of them. We are left with a damaged unfinished looking pool. Definitely not worth $13,305.00. If you go with Green Turtle Fiberglass pool GOOD LUCK!

2.5 years ago, I contracted with Green Turtle Pools (GT) to resurface my 96-year-old dad's pool. They removed the surface, added fiberglass and painted the pool with a premium epoxy-based paint. The process cost me over $14,000 and the finished product looked very good. However, after 2.5 years, the painted surface is cracking, and the paint is peeling in numerous locations. I notified GT and they said that they would come and fix the cracks at a cost of $700+ (and that is 40% off the total charge). This was just done a couple of days ago and the surfacing is further cracking and peeling. After notifying GT they said that the pool had to be drained and resurfaced again at a cost of $6500 more (and that was 40% off the full price)! They didn't even apply the $700 I paid for the repair which did nothing! The cracking and peeling of the painted surface, in my opinion, was either a defective product (paint) / poor application and they want me to pay for their error! Their website says that they are a "Faith-Based Family-Owned Company" and they state they do business with "Respect", "Quality" and "Integrity". I would like to know where these traits are in their business. Their representative who came to do the "Repair" told me that the only solution to correct the problem was to resurface and repaint the pool with a better grade epoxy-based paint. I paid for premium paint originally and now there is a better paint? I asked their representative what it would cost me, and he said it would be much less than I was quoted, and that the owner would "work with me". With the quote I received, I don't believe the owner "worked with me" and only wanted to make more money! I am totally dissatisfied with GT and in my opinion, they don't back up their work / product! As I see it, based on my experience, they want you to resurface your pool every three years at a high cost! I don't recommend Green Turtle based on my interactions!

The crew chief Mike arrived on time with his team Danny and Luther the process was explained in detail before starting their work. They then proceeded to stage by stage perform their magic, the pool was completed on time and all my expectations were exceeded. The team was highly professional and would highly recommend green turtle. The initial process began when I met David Lester my salesman who pointed me in the right direction and the rest is history.

We had our pool fiberglassed to repair many dark blisters. The walls and bottom look like new. By the end of the week my pool has been painted a beautiful blue and as I type filling. The 3 men worked from early to late and were wonderful. Respectful in language and kept our home clean! Would use this company free of any worries! T. Fields

Had a great experience with Green turtle! They kept the area clean and neat the whole time made sure they cleaned up and wiped down the area when they were done spraying. The were excellent couldn't be happier with the service I received. If you are getting your pool resurfaced ask for Jairo, Tom and Tino excellent crew and Jairo is the best at the paint spray no mess and no drips at all!

Sales person was excellent helped us make a decision as to how and what to do with our pool. He did not try to make us do anything. Let us make the decision. People in the office were so nice. The people doing the work were excellent very courteous, cleaned up. just had the coping finish today. Our pool looks beautiful. I am so glad I went with this company.

Great and speedy work

This was a horrible experience. From day one I said I need this pool fixed. Coated, new pump, and all leaks fixed. After Paying $5000 more than the original amount quoted. The pool still leaks, now they claim it is not their fault and I need to pay more. Do not get involved with this debacle of a company.

Fantastic job. Completed on schedule by very professional staff. With special mention to Stephan who kept us informed every step of the way.
