I called Enter the Cool Zone and spoke with Carlos, the owner of the company and set up an appointment day and time. Carlos showed up right on time and he has an excellent work ethic and great personality. Carlos went up in the attic, took the cover off both the inside and outside unit. He made a couple of recommendations that we may want to do to make the unit run more efficiently but at no time did he try to sell us something or say that something was bad just to make a buck. Carlos is very honest and we will be using hime for all of our AC needs from now on.
Since he did not have to actually replace any parts, he did clean the unit up for us, Carlos did not charge us a penny. He stated that when we need something he would appreciate it if we use his company. I was expecting to pay a service call at a minimum for this appointment but he said no. You don't find this type of company out there anymore. He was at our home for about 1 hour.
We hgihly recommend this company, very honest and trustworthy they are on call 7 days a week 24 hours a day.

Great, after discovering an air filter that had not been changed in a long time, Carlos allowed me to see the ductwork -it was perfect , large conduits, no kinks perfectly laid out. Using the air cond that night I nearly froze in the rooms where purportedly there was poor airflow.

Carlos met the Real Estate agent on site and promptly provided a quote. After starting the job he notified me that there would be an additional cost of $465. A professional does not have this sort of discrepency between quote and job. When I finally received the invoice almpst 2 mos after completion, it stated the original $1950 charged to my credit card as a "deposit" and indicated the remaining $465 was to be charged 3/12. This was not an accurate depiction of the events. While, I have not personally inspected the work, I hear from my renters that the ducts are functioning well. I would prefer to deal with a company that honors their quote.

"The member had contact me long time ago to give her a quote, she decided to hire some other guy without a contractors license to do the job very cheap. In the process of doing the job he caused a lot of damage to the structure and duct connections. This person could not get the job completed for some reason so the member call me back to help her out. I gave her a very good price considering the difficulty of the job. It is true that there was an additional $465.00. This extra charge was because as we got deeper into the attic and started to remove the ducts, we noticed that there was also damage to the collars and cans of the diffusers, this are things that sometimes you discover once the job begins, no contractor would be able to see this things until you start the job. I took several pictures and sent to the member to review and approve the extra charges. No questions were asked and the changes were approved. There were many other things we did on that job at no additional charge. The member decided to hire a men with no experience and no credentials who made things worse, i took pictures and showed the member . EVERYTHING WE DID IN THAT JOB WAS APPROVED BY HER. Now as she states her self, her residents have no problem with the duct. After spending hours in that 120 degree Fahrenheit attic were we had to crawl on our belly because of lack of space......... There is no way i can ignore the extra work we had to do and not charge for it. We are a serious company with excellent reviews please check us out at Better Business Bureau, also google us (enter the cool zone reviews) etc. Thank you for the opportunity to respond to this review. The owner came out and did the job. He was prompt and professional. He showed up when he said he would and did an excellent job. It was more than I had expected. The product was not under warranty, and he gave me some discount on labor. The price was very competitive, and he had given me time to pay him. It was a better price than that of the other company that I had used in the past. I would recommend Enter the Cool Zone.
