Fair price and honored coupon - Office people very nice and professional
I needed the job done, so I agreed. He removed the old toilet and installed the new. During the install, he told me that my current supply line needed to be upgraded, in order for him to install the new one. He quoted me an additional price of $300, but he said, "if I believe in God", he could do it off the books for half that price (talk about an oxymoron). Being that the price for the toilet install service included a supply line replacement, I asked how much is he going to deduct since he can't install it. He said, "oh, I can take off about $30". I declined the service and had him finish the install.
I can't say the quality of the product was bad because I purchased the toilet myself. I will have to see if I run into any install issues in the future.
If you aren't in a real pinch, I recommend finding another plumbing company that is more direct with pricing and punctual.
On the same visit he caulked around the top of the kitchen faucet and adjusted the pull down, but made it worst then it was and
still leaked.
We called for someone to check and another plumber came to take pictures, he said someone will call the next day. They did not call. Later we called again and they promised to come on Monday. After waiting all morning, we called and the office said they are running late, but will be there. At about 4pm we called again and they told us they would be ther about 9pm. We said no, the next day we be OK. On Tuesday 2 other plumbers arrived and looked over the situation and said someone will contact you the next day. No one did.
The next week they sent another plumber (manager) to inspect again to determine a credit due to us, but we did not hear from him. A week later we received a call from another person who was apparantly attempting to establish a refund, but was to arrogant to listen. We had to end the call.
As a business professional we have worked with many trades people to serve our clients and customers and have never experienced this kind of run-around from anyone.
We want a refund as requested.
I would not trust these guys with a water bottle much less any plumbing.
A month later, the drains backed up again. Called Du All again. This time the same tech said I needed a system rejuvenation. He said the regular price was $2800, but since I already spent $800, they'd do it for $2000. At this point my lawn was dug up and there was standing water, so I really didn't have a choice.
About eight months later, the drains started backing up again. This time I called a different company (one that has an A rating on this site, BTW). The tech came out and said Du All did pretty much nothing to my system. He said there were broken drainage pipes which should have been fixed, and the work Du All supposedly did would not have worked with a broken pipe. He said there were many stories circulating about Du All and their less-than-ethical practices.
Now, I'm having the second company do a complete drainfield replacement for just slightly more than what Du All charged me to Du Nothing.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
"Hi [member name removed], Can you please provide your address or phone number? I am looking in our system and do not see your name or address listed (from what is provided on your angieslist review). Also, please provide the name of the tech that was onsite (it will be on the invoice we left with you), so that we can take the appropriate steps with that employee. Thanks, we look forward to hearing from you and resolving this matter."
"Thanks for your business. Don't forget to take advantage of the coupons on our website for your next service call :) Thanks again and we look forward to serving you in the future."
Service technician was on time, polite and helpful. Very pleased with service.
No complaints, technician did a lot of work and didn't complain about anything. My septic tank is happy and now one less thing to worry about. I usually have my septic tanks cleaned every 4 years , so when it is ready for the next pump-out, I plan on using Du-All.
Total work took a little less than two hours. James was clean, polite, and tidy. I would recommend him and his company to anyone else that needs plumbing service. They also provided me with a coupon book for any future work that I need to have completed.
