Really a great company all around. The repairs were perfect...you'd never know there was any damage. Can't beat the convienence of service in your driveway. I thought the cost was reasonable and will certainly call them back next time I need body work.

These guys are fantastic ! I had a bad scratch near the passenger door handle of my classic Lincoln. Casey, the technician is a magician ! he not only made the scratch disappear but blended the black paint (which shows everything) perfectly and I consider myself to be a perfectionist. Tim, the owner is a very personable and confident in his service and rightfully so. I would recommend The Chip Eraser to anyone that has hesitated doing anything about those nasty dents or scratches.

Fender had a crumpled dent that could not be fixed by the paint-less method.   Came to my house for free estimate which was in the low range of body shop estimates and made appointment  for a week or 2 later.  Came exactly on time and bumped out, puttied and painted to an exact match of the metallic paint.  I later had some wok done at BMW and they were impressed with the job.  They were here on time, did the job at the estimate and were done under 5 hours as promised.  I loved it no need to go back and forth to a body shop and rent a car etc.  Definitely would use again (hope I don't have to!)

Actually this is for my friend's car but I caused the scratches so I arranged and paid for the repair. My friend had to use her car for work so there was no way I could get it to a shop without spending a half-day. Chip Eraser was one of only two companies I called who agreed to try to give me an estimate based on photos. I really appreciated them being flexible about this.
Chip Eraser is a to-your-door service, which would be perfect--they could do the work at my friend's house on her day off while she was still asleep--but it did raise a concern about limited ability to match paint without a whole body shop of equipment available. The owner spent a good deal of time on the phone telling me exactly how he works and how they can perfectly match paint from a mobile shop, and was very convincing so I took a chance.
Price-wise, Chip Eraser's estimate was the second-lowest by only $30, which was more than worth having them come out and not having to drop off the car for at least a day somewhere. They gave me a window of $180-200 since they hadn't seen the damage personally yet, and stuck to their low end.
Jason arrived maybe 10 minutes late (not a problem) but called me early, in plenty of time,to let me know. He actually took less time getting there than he estimated. He did all the work in her driveway and was done inside two hours.
Now the scary part: my friend is a princess, she can sense a pea under 50 mattresses and will make you take them all off to get it out. But she was thrilled with the job. Even for her he matched the paint perfectly. Her only problem was, she said, that now the rest of her car looks dowdy. Jason told her all she had to do was buff the rest of the car and wax it and it would be fine. He even buffed a portion adjacent to the work he'd just done, and showed her how closely the rest of the car would match.
A great find, hope I never have to use them again, but if I ever get in another fender-bender I'll go to them first. Their main limitations are, of course, it's difficult to work in heavy rain, and they obviously can't do huge jobs like body crushes and accordions. But for smaller dents and scratches they are great.

Jason arrived on time and started to set up for the repair on the car right away. He was very profesional and he took his time on the repair. The repair went better than I expected and the state of the art truck he has came ready to do the job. The paint mixing was done with the help of a computer and the color was exact. Great service and great Company. Here is another reason why Angies List works so well for m, I would have never found this Company and never would I been relaxed based on the reviews

Called ahead 30 min. to anounce arrival. Worked continuously for nearly two hours repairing rust damage. Very professional. Would use them again.

I would highly recommend them. When I called I got a real person, they arrived on time to my house to give me an estimate, and did a great job on my car. Everyone I dealt with was so pleasant.

I messed up and didn't have my (beautiful) car pulled into the garage far enough before hitting the garage door button and taking 2 major gouges out of the rear bumper. After going off on myself, I called and explained my stupidity and Tim was at my door to provide an estimate within 3 hours of my initial contact. He was very knowledgeable, assured me that he sees this all the time, gave a very fair written quote and said they would do the complete repair right where the car was in the garage. We schedule the work for 1:00 today and Jason pulled in at 12:59 ready to go. His truck was completely equipped with everything needed including a computerized paint mixing machine that provided the perfect match. Jason covered the whole car taping of the area to be repaired and went to work. He is very cordial, his skill was amazing and the outcome exceptional. Whether it's shopping carts, careless parking lot door bangers or garage door stupidity I would DEFINITELY recommend The Chip Eraser to anyone who would like their car's body in its original condition. How would I describe the service and and the end result? SWEET! And best of all, I don't feel stupid anymore because I found the BEST! Thanks Angie's List.

I first met the owner who came out an gave me an estimate. We scheduled the work which was all done at my home. John was the gentleman who did the work. Both the owner and John were very professional, honest and punctual. John did a fabulous job. I would not be able to tell you where the scratch was. The price was below competition and I from the amount of work it takes it was well worth it. I would HIGHLY recommend them.

They were very good and I would definitely recommend them. My car looks so much better. It is night and day.

They came out to estimate promptly and provided a quote that was 1/4 of what a body shop quoted. We scheduled the work for a week later. Jason showed up on time and repaired the horrible crackling of the paint. The finished work was amazing. You cannot even tell anything happened! The paint was a perfect match and whatever technique he used worked perfectly. They even come to you which is very convenient.

What a great experience working with everyone at Chip Eraser. They answered the phone with a live person who was very helpful and accommodating when it came to making an appointment for an estimate. Tim showed up on time for the estimate appointment. He explained the process and who would be coming out to do the work and how long it should take.
On the day of the appointment I needed to change the address that the vehicle would be at from work to home and without hesitation they told me it was no problem.
Angel called ahead to let me know when he was coming and showed up in the time frame the appointment was for. Nice guy. Did great work. Can't tell the bumper was hit. Like new!
I would highly recommend you call this company. Don't use anyone else. I called 3 other companies and no one answered live and no one called me back.

I called and quot;The Chip Eraser,and quot; described the damage and arranged for an inspection and an estimate. An estimator came out to the house on September 12th, looked at the damage and provided a fixed price of $200. I agreed to tthe work and an appointment was scheduled. The worker (Ron) was at the house only a few minutes after the scheduled time (he called in advance to say he was running a little late) and did a great job as described above. It looks like a new bumper and the paint perfectly matches. The work site in my garage was left the way he found it.
