The owner was professional, friendly and explained the replacement in detail. He used only OEM parts and did the job when scheduled. Kept the truck clean, tested it after the job was completed and is very honest. The cost was less than 1/2 of the dealer charge and he didn't try to add on any unnecessary repairs or maintenance ( Like the dealers do. ) I have owned this truck for ten years and will keep it for another ten and I won't let anyone else ever touch it again. He's going to be the only place I take my truck as well as my wife's car from now on.

I left the car for couple of hours, they had to take all the tires off to examine the brakes. They cleaned dust from all the brakes and all pads and rotors were in good shape. After test driving the car the squealing was gone and Vinny said I could wait to replace the motor mounts until there was more vibration from the steering wheel. Meanwhile the car was in good condition. Bob Davis auto saved me $1,1000 for now. This Honest car repair service was highly recommended by a Band of Neighbor reply from Marie G. She has been using their service for 25 years. Thanks Marie.

I asked Vinny to check the brakes and the motor mounts. I was hearing a squealing sound from the rear of the car when hitting the brakes. And earlier in the week I got an estimate from another repair service for over $1,100 to replace the motor mounts.

I have been going here for about 20 years. They provide the most honest and reliable service. They have repeatedly made necessary repairs for us at a much lower cost than other surrounding auto repair shops. They always tell the truth about what is needed. They make sure to tell you how long a service will take and whether or not you should wait in the shop to get the car back.

They do an excellent job. They are very forthright and honest. They referred the electrical work on my 1984 Lincoln to an electrical specialist. They paid the specialist themselves to take care of it. The car starts up all the time.

They have worked on 3 different cars. I bought a new set of tires for one car, did electrical work on another car, and brake work on another car.

I had a fantastic experience at Bob Davis. I called and made an appointment to drop off my car. Everyone I spoke to in the shop was very nice and knowledgeable. I mostly dealt with Bob's son, Vinnie, and he was great. I picked my car up when it was ready after work. They were very flexible with their pick up and drop off times. I will definitely use them in the future and would recommend to anyone looking for an honest mechanic.

It was a great experience. Vinnie was very responsive, called me twice, once to tell me what the problem was and then when my car was ready. He explained everything to me and how they came to the conclusion about the oxygen sensors. The shop is clean and organized. Everyone was courteous and professional. Vinnie replaced my wiper blades ( I forgot to ask him to do it). That kind of attention to detail and service is very important to me. I felt comfortable leaving my car at the shop for the day knowing intuitively, it was in good hands.

I brought my car in to get a second opinion on a major repair, replacement of a catalytic converter ($1600.00). Vinnie and the crew diagnosed the problem and determined it was not the catalytic converter but the oxygen sensors. He replaced the oxygen sensors and my car was good to go the same day. He saved me a lot of money.

Vinny was amazing. Answered my Angies List email on New Years Day. Dropped by the shop on Monday AM. Car back on Tuesday. Vinny was very friendly, respectful, and courteous. He delivered the car back (with free oil change) on time and on budget. We'll be heading back that way for Round #2 of repairs. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

My car had overheated about 2 months ago and I got the radiator replaced (a friend did it for me). However, I started having issues with it starting and one day it decided to not start altogether! After doing some research, I found Bob Davis Auto Repair and was able to drive my car over there. He stayed in contact with me during the whole process. They are only open Monday-Friday, so my car had to stay there over a week, but it was worth it! He worked with me on the price and fixed everything (and then some!). Vinny was wonderful to work with and gave me recommendations for what replacements I will need in the future (as well as estimates). My car is running better than it has since the time I got it!

Replaced head gasket, spark plugs, timing belt, and a temp. sensor. Also fixed a couple of oil leaks and did an oil change.

Bob and Vinny are fantastic!! Not only do you get personal service from the owners, but their staff is knowledgable and professional. They have always answered all of my questions and call before any additional work is performed. It's rare to find an honest mechanic these days, but when is the last time that a mechanic actually let you leave telling you that there is work that SHOULD be done, but not to spend your money doing it now?! I have reccomended them to all my family and friends, and they have a customer for life with me!
