After speaking with several locksmiths , I had narrowed my decision to two based on their quotes.  One I found in the yellow pages and the other was A Bullet Locksmith.  When company #1 came to the house the price was $150 more than agreed upon so I paid for the service call, declined any further service, and immediately called A Bullet Locksmith.  A Bullet Locksmith arrived as soon as possible and were very professional.  Thank you again A Bullet Locksmith ; I am a very satisfied customer.  Thank you Angie.

I spoke to Bill this morning with an issue I had with installing a new door handle and deadbolt. I wasn't able to open my door because of the issue, and he was at my house within 2 hours of the call and fixed everything. He was responsive, professional and affordable! Definitely using him again if I run into any lock issues!

The owner Bill was great. I was missing the Medco code to my key and he went back to his shop and had his guy figure out the code and didn't charge me extra for the work. They also said my Medco lock was old had issues and fixed it for me free of charge in order to install the unit the next day when he came back. Very honest good guy!

Called ABullet at 5:15pm, the locksmith was on his way back to his shop when he got my call.  I told him I needed an interior door unlocked.  Since he was close by he turned around and arrived to our house within 5 minutes.  The unlocking took 5 minutes.  But what makes it so spectacular is that his van had no reverse and he was closing for the day when he took my call.  I appreciate that he performed the work even though he was having car trouble.

We really liked Billy.   He went to work and installed the keyless lock system I had purchased prior to his arrival.   He created a custom  back plate to cover the space where the new lock did not cover the hole from the prior system and installed it.
His price for the whole job was very good.   
We would be happy to hire him again.

When I closed my bathroom door behind me on 4/29 somehow the lock mechanism slipped into position & locked me out.  The lock is not the average kind that you can open with a screwdriver through the small hole on the knob or cover plate.  I searched the internet first for a video on how to unlock a door (every video was for the standard screwdriver-in-the-hole type lock), then for a similar knob set hoping to find a replacement privacy key, and after several hundred entries, I finally found one that looked like mine, but it had not been made in years.  I took a photo & showed it to several hardware/door fixture stores & one locksmith recommended by a door store, but no one had seen anything like it, including the locksmith.  The locksmith shop said they might be able to saw off the handle, but it would cost a minimum of $91 and they could not fit me in until four days later unless I paid emergency rates (btw, this shop is rated A on Angie's list, though for key-making services, not for locksmithing).

I went to Angie's List & advance-searched within 5 miles of me, & A Bullet came up.  I called, they said no problem, they would have someone out in an hour, and the base cost would be $65.  The locksmith came in 30 minutes (!) and, although he had never seen a lock like I had before, managed to get the door handle off in about 20 minutes without harming my door, my marble floor, or the handle.  Sadly, the lock was frozen by something & no longer works so I have to replace it, but this was not the locksmith's fault.  Essentially, A Bullet charged less, came sooner, did a cleaner job, and, had my stupid lock not seized up previously, managed to preserve the door handle intact better than the initial locksmith recommended by the restoration door fixture company.

I hope I never have to use them again of course, but if I ever get locked out anywhere, A Bullet will be the first one I call.  And I would definitely recommend them highly.

PS  I'd just had my wood floors cleaned, & had towels down as a pathway for the locksmith, and he was very understanding & careful not to walk with his shoes on my floors.  I definitely appreciated the care he took.

No problems at all with this company. They received a C for punctuality because they showed up 45 minutes past  the agreed upon time and I had to call them (they should have called me) to find out they were running behind schedule. The locksmith was nice and professional. He re-keyed the deadbolt lock and made 3 keys in about 20 minutes. I also felt the price was fair.

2 days ago I had my car broken into and the spare key and fab stolen. I had to get my ignition key hole changed today. With all the keys flying around I inadvertently locked the key to the doors in the car. I needed that to happen, right?! I had had it! I called these guys and he came in 45 minutes. He got into the car quickly. As he was working he cared about doing any kind if damage to my car. I liked that. He knew his stuff and was very cordial. I will use these guys again if I get in any trouble and would definately refer them if I get the opportunity. Worth the reasonable price I paid to get my car open. After I told him this story he gave me an estimate on rekeying the doors to my new ignition key! I needed to hear that because the dealership gave me a quote of $1200 to re-key. His quote was an estimate, but he said that it could be done for around $275. What a difference! He told me to call and get actual quote but $275 vs $1200 is certainly more doable.

He came when he said would. He went right to work and knew what to do. He did a good job and didn't try to push other work on me. He was a gentleman and I would use him again if needed.
