Air Conditioning & Electric Energy

I had another company install this unit 4 years ago and when I called them to come fix our AC I was put on standby an entire day and then was told they would be out in the morning. When they didn't show I came across AC & Electric Energy. Scott and his crew were awesome! They identified the problem with the coil and replaced them quickly. They even told us that the part was still under warranty and we only had to pay for labor. I will definitely be using them again for all our AC needs. Prompt and honest, what more can you ask for!

Scott came out himself at very short notice and got our old AC running again after it froze. Really appreciated him coming out so that our newborn didn't have to spend the night with no AC.

I had three Angie list companies come out to do a price for a new AC because ours was killed by lightening surge.  of the three companies, only two provided bids.  This company provided the best price on a higher SEER unit.  we had been without AC for over a week.  they said they could get it done in one day and put us at the top of list due to us having no AC.  they did everything in one day and the workers were very good.  they also helped us with the location of the new condenser due to its size.  Scot came out and was there at the start of the day as well as back at the end of the day to check up on things.  they cleaned up everything and made sure it was running correctly.  we look forward to continuing our relationship in the future.

I was given a window of from 2-4pm and the guy from Air Conditioning and Electric Energy arrived soon after 2pm. He followed a 19 point inspection of the system as described in the contract. He took his time and was very professional in his work. He did the service and said that he found no problems. He was not very communicative and took his time  and was very professional.

Blake was on time, very nice and professional. He even went out of his way to check out a question I had about my water heater. I have been using this company for 15 years, and I highly recommend them.

Highly recommend A/C Elec Energy

This provider installed our A/C unit and has performed "tune-up" service twice a year since (past 3 years).  We are very pleased with his work.  When we've had any issue, including nights and holidays, he has always answered the phone and has come out if we couldn't correct things over the phone (usually we could).  He is extremely knowledgeable and very customer oriented.

I have been using them for years, and I have had very good experience with them. I would highly recommend them. I once had a problem on a very raining weekend, and it was a very hot summer, and the boss himself came out, and fixed everything. I am very well known there, because I have been dealing with them for years.

They’re very good. I have used them twice. They came out for the same problem. The problem wasn’t corrected the first time so I had to call them out again. It was an ongoing problem that I had some years before not with them but with someone else. I ended up calling them. The man came out and replaced some parts but then another provider, the same problem happened and so he had to come out again but I missed their job. He did a good job. I haven’t had any problem. I’m satisfied with them. I think they were very efficient. The man who came out seems to know what he was doing. The only thing is they had to come out the second time. The price was a little steep. I’m always been dissatisfied with the price unless somebody gave me an exceptional price. I definitely would use them again.

Scott Studer (owner) submitted a proposal to update our air conditioning system as described above. His proposal was the best-value offer among the four we solicited from top rated companies on Angie's List. Scott's proposal represented the optimum choices of equipment and installation to achieve the lowest overall life-cycle-cost. For example, we could have selected lower cost equipment but it would have consumed more in electric energy than it would save in up-front cost. Likewise, we could have selected higher SEER equipment. but would not have recovered the higher cost in future energy savings. Scott's crew ( Roy, Adel and Blake ) did an excellent  job installing the system! They were very considerate to minimize any inconvenience to us during the installation. They used drop cloths inside our home and cleaned all the work areas at the end of each day. I asked them to make some minor changes as the project moved along, which they did in a cooperative manner. During the project, Scott expressed concern that we should increase air flow to our master bedroom and bathroom areas. This was not included in the initial proposal. Naturally I was concerned that any add-ons would come at considerably higher additional cost. Not so, the cost to do the additions was totally reasonable and the increased airflow made the rooms noticeably more comfortable. The bottom line to this project is a well planned and executed system by a quality contractor at a reasonable cost. I highly recommend this company to provide any of their services to other customers. Thanks to Scott, Roy, Adel and Blake. WELL DONE !

Very thorough, efficient work on install. All servicemen were polite and capable. A pleasure. Owner himself came out to satisfy our concerns. Very professional.

Scott came out to see what we had and what we needed to completely replace our old Ruud A/C units. We wanted a newer more efficient system . He checked the duct work and made some suggestions for us as I had told him that we had a temperature difference (noticeable) in the master bedroom. Scott and my husband discussed the various units and we got what we wanted. We had to upgrade the size for upstairs to a 2 ton instead of a 1.5 ton. He ran another duct to our master bedroom and made a few changes for better air flow upstairs. We now have a more powerful A/C and it is so nice. We have American Standard variable speed system.
The guys came out and were very professional and kept everything clean. They started on Thursday and finished on Friday. Then came back for follow up on some little things the following week.
Scott was very nice to work with and very knowledgeable about the various systems.

They are reliable, they seem to be honest, and I have been using them for over twenty years. Their price is comparable.

Technician was here very quickly and diagnosed problem in minutes. 30 min later some small parts where replaced and all is working again. No trying to oversell or expensive freon fill up. Just quick fix for what was needed

My compresser "went to ground" and was therefore not repairable nor operational.  While the compressor was still under warantee, the cost to replace the R-22 refigerant together with the labor charges, exceeded $1,000.  I had already spent over  $1.000 on other compresser and coil repairs so I decided to cut the losses and replace my 12 SEER system with  a high efficient 18 SEER system using the new, mandated, R410-a refrigerant.   After checking Consumer Reports, talking with neighbors and consulting with HVAC contractors, I decided to install the #1 rated American Standard Platinum system.  I went to the American Standard web site and clicked on their "find a dealer" listing.  Many were listed, including some well rated on Angies List.  A/C & Electric Energy was one listed on both.  BUT, only A/C Electric Energy  was listed by American Standard as being a Certified Customer Care dealer, meaning they were factory trained and were committed to customer satisfaction.  Then, after one final check with the Better Business Bureau (no complaints), I called them.   I explained our situation (it was Monday morning and we lost a/c on Saturday) and Rob Klein said he would be out that morning to assess the situation and come up with a solution.  He arrived on time and  provided all the detailed technical information I need about the various alternatives.  We arrived at a solution and he quoted me a price. I said I would let him know by early afternoon after he assured me that he had talked with the owner, Scott, and they could complete the installation by Tues. afternoon.  I spent the rest of the morning shopping price.  I called Rob back and, after discussing price a bit more,  put down a deposit and arranged to be there first thing next morning for the job to begin.       They were there first thing next morining, on time, ready to begin.  To ensure all started smoothly, Scott was there to assess the job requirements and make any tweaks should it be necessary (there weren't).  Scott answered some of my additional technical questions, helped the installation crew put down dropcloths, and made final measurements to ensure all would be up to Certified Customer Care Standards.  The installers did a great job and I am still left withthe memory of one of them, Roy, calking the INSIDE of the ductwork, where the air handler meets the phlenum to ensure there is an air tight seal.  This is the first time I've seen that kind of attention to detail and commitment to quality work.         At the end of the day, all the work was completed the system was fully functioning.  The site was as clean (cleaner, actually as they had helped me clear out junk boxes from the attic where they were working) as when they arrived.  I could not be more please with the quality of  their work and would highly recommend them without reservation.

I have used this company or over 15 years. They installed my a/c units years ago and serviced them. Both lasted 13 years and I again used them to install my new units. They also have serviced my pool heat pump. Scott, the owner is always helpful and most importantly available to talk to personally. In the past year I recommended them to a friend and a family member. Both chose them after getting other estimates. Both are very satisfied. I would highly recommend this company.
