"We regret that [Member Name Removed] feels this way. Mr. [Member Name Removed] contacted us back in September right after Hurricane Ian. The work he requested from us back then could only be performed by licensed contractors and not a handyman service. When he contacted us a few days ago, it was a direct call and not within the Angi platform. Mr. [Member Name Removed] provided a list of projects. He requested we purchase materials for him and install them accordingly. We allocated and assigned a budget to his customer account. We provided our business licenses and workman'[Member Information Removed] comp certificate as he requested. We indicated that business insurance is not mandatory in the State of Florida, but, we were researching it for 2023. We agreed to schedule a service call to assess the water leak to determine if it required a licensed plumber or not and also, look at the other projects. Mr. [Member Name Removed] did contact us prior to the scheduled service call. At this time, his unprofessional interactions with us with his statements of " can you do the work or do I have to find someone who knows what they're doing", "It sounds like you're not customer centric, you're a fly-by-night company like all the other handyman services", " I guess you don't care about reviews, unless you do this call, I will leave a review saying you never showed up" and finally, " I hope you enjoy you review on Angi". We feel Mr. [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] claims are disingenuous and we disagree. Mr. [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] conduct and statements, left us with no recourse but to terminate the pending service. We feel his review is simply retaliatory. In closing, We do fully agree, 100%, on only one of Mr. [Member Name Removed]'[Member Information Removed] comments. When it comes to verbal abuse and compromising the safety and well being of our team, then yes, we don't care about reviews. We do care about our team and doing what'[Member Information Removed] right, no matter the cost. Thank you."
