HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. THEY DIDN'T FIX THE SIMPLE ISSUE (REPLACING A FAULTY FACUET) THEY WERE SUPPOSED TO, BUT RATHER CAUSED ANOTHER ISSUE AND THEN HAD THE NERVE TO ASK ME TO FIX THE ISSUE THEY CAUSED BY MUSELF WITH INSTRUCTIONS THEY GAVE ME. This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company and I wouldn't have gone with them given the choice. My home warranty company informed me that they reported the plumbers from Five Star Plumbing to the supervisors at my home warranty company and filed a complaint against them on my behalf as a rep from the home warranty company overheard the disrespect with which I had to deal when I had to call my home warranty company to resolve an issue with the plumbers from Five Star Plumbing when they were in my home. The two guys who came initially were rude and disrespectful. One of them slammed my bathroom door in my face when I was observing what they were doing after I'd explained the issue they came to fix. They did NOT do the job properly and had to come back. They still didn't do the job properly on the second try, so their company (Five Star) had to send other plumbers (2 other guys) who finally did the job (replace a faulty faucet and fix an error the first set of plumbers from Five Star caused) in a single go. All this to replace a defunct faucet. It was a HORRIBLE service and interpersonal experience. I do NOT recommend this company. I'm not sure if the service was bad because I'm a young, woman homeowner and they were older White men who didn't like that I'd accomplished home ownership in a great neghorbood my youth. I'm not sure if I was just a bit too nice so they thought they could be rude and disrespectful with me - either way, the service was extremely poor. The two replacement plumbers who came later were also lacking in customer service skills and my home warranty company filed a complaint against them after hearing firsthand their disrespect towards me. But at least the second set of plumbers got the job done and fixed the issue their colleagues had caused. This company should be defunct. That or fixt their customer service skills and upgrade their resources.

Allen and his son Andrew were quick, knowledgeable, and professional. They cleaned up when they finished both tasks and the jobs were fairly priced. I would highly recommend them and I plan on using them again.

Alan and is son did a GREAT job. They were punctual on the day of the appointment and arrived with parts, ready to go! I was able to set the appointment and send pics of my existing fixtures via text. The appoint was confirmed via text and the day before Alan called to ensure we were all set and answer any questions I might have. The pre-work was quick and welcomed! The name fits the service...five stars!

Very easy to work with

I was impressed - they diagnosed problem and replaced faucets. They arrived on time; did the job; cleaned up area in reasonable amount of time. They were very processional and courteous. I will definitely use them again.

Allan and his son were great!! Extremely professional, friendly, and knowledgeable about the plumbing services I needed. Very punctual as well and completed all the services in less than an hour. I definitely recommend them and will only use them in the future!

5 Stars was second plumber hired to locate and repair leak. First plumber gave up. 5 Stars worked for close to 3 hours to find leak which was far from drips from ceiling. They never gave up. Leak was found and repaired.

Alan picked up the phone right away and was able to come out same day.

Alan arrived and took care of the problem quickly and efficiently as always. He is a pleasure to deal with, always explains things and gets right to work. He is a wonderful gentleman and a great, reasonably priced plumber. Couldn't ask for a more experienced plumber or kinder person.

Alan was very professional and prompt. He had to order the parts which took about 5 days, and was able to come out the next day.

I called Alan at 10 pm on a Friday night. I was surprised that he picked up the call, and even more surprised to hear he was out of the State when he answered the phone. We scheduled a time on Monday to have him come over. I appreciated that he communicated with me over the weekend and I never was in doubt about him making the appointment we had made. As expected he was punctual. This was a complicated repair based on how the faucet broke and it took some work to fix. I am please with the repair and feel I paid a fair price. I will use Alan and Five Star Plumbing for any other plumbing repair i may need in the future

overall, i give alan an "A" on the quality of his work. even though i did have a lot of work done, i thought it was a bit overpriced, especially a $90 charge to drive to home depot (6.2 mi).
