See above. Awful service...no service just a waste of time!

I live in a rural area and repair shops are hard to find.  I called Mikell's shop on or about May 13 to see if they would pickup and repair my tractor.  Thy stated it would be 2 weeks before they could pick it up.  Two weeks came and went, so I called them again and stated it would be 2 more days before pickup.  Again, didn't come or call.  Visited the shop on June 2 and they said there was a problem and that the pickup would be on June 4.  This time they were on time and stated it would take about a week to fix the problem.  After a week passed, I called them only to find they hadn't started the repairs.  Another week  needed.  I finally got it back on June 27.  After getting it back, I noticed on the bill that they added items that had nothing to do with the repair.  I was expecting a bill of about $120 since this is what I paid to get it fixed by a previous company which had gone ore probleout of business.  Nope!!  $300 plus was the bill and a month and a half no lawn cutting (grass was 3 feet high).

I think the next time the tractor deck breaks,  I will unhook the deck and use the tractor as a hauler with  my little trailer and buy a new lawn tractor.  I will cost more but hopefully, no more problems.

I took a blower in that was hard to crank and would not run more than 2 minutes.  I received the blower back and it did the same thing: within the second crank it was difficult to crank and ran about 2 minutes. I returned; the desk girl, who has a perpetual scowl on her face, took it back to the tech.  I could hear the problem cranking.  A minute or so passed and the blower cranked.  They ran it for about 20 seconds then cut it off, cranked it again and ran it for about 20 seconds.  The counter girl returned and told me that he had made a small adjustment and that there was nothing wrong with the blower.  Back home and it immediately cranked!  Yeah!  For 2 minutes.  Then back to the original problem.  I will not be returning to Mikel's.  I will find a trustworthy small engine repair shop and report back.
