ENTERPRISE RENT-A-CAR

Terrible!! We had been in in a horrible car accident on the highway in the pouring rain. When the sheriff dropped us off to get our reserved rental car, They -( the manager and her red haired co-worker) would not let us in to use the restroom because we had no face masks. (They had been towed with our car). We were in shock and had been detained for hours on the expressway and when We asked for a disposable mask, they said they ran out,.. that day! . (We learned later, from the district manager, that they do have disposable masks at their locations, at all times!.) We begged repeatedly to use the restroom, but they would not let us in. They have lied and concocted so many stories (saying they offered us masks, but we didn't want them because they touched them and that we used profanity and threatened to punch them), rather than what truly happened; I guess to save their jobs. After I begged about 15 times to use the restroom., I told the red haired worker to please stop saying that I couldn't use the restroom and to stop patronizing me. She went in and told the manager something and then the manager came out yelling that our rental agreement was cancelled!! We were petrified, as we were 4 hours from our home with no vehicle and my cell phone had a low battery. We have never been treated so rudely in our lives! And all we got after numerous phone calls to Corporate customer service, the district manager, and area manager - were a lot of apologies that this happened. The area manager told us she cannot offer a resolution because it is a "he said, she said" situation. How sad is it that the customer is persecuted and treated so rudely and disrespectfully? Why would we complain to so many people, if we were making this up? The area manager excused their toxic behavior and set a new baseline for bad customer service. I will continue to tell people not to use the Lake City Florida location.

Monday Oct 20th made reservations for an intermediate size car for piup on Friday oct 24th at 9am. Told them we were going to south florida. Wanted to be comfortable and good on gas. When we arrived on Friday to pick up our car, we were told they only has a mini van and a pickup trk available. I asked how can that be when a reservation was made. They replied that they were overbooked. They tried to call people that were due to return vehicles, but could not get a hold of anyone. We went over to Hertz to see if they had anything at last minute and did not. We ended up using our own truck to travel, thank god the price on gas had gone down.

Great! They always give me a weekend special when I rent a car. Every employee always wears a suit. I rent from them about once a month and have never had a problem.
