"I dispute most everything the member has to say about his claim that we sold him a car that was not a good used car. First he did not pay what he claims he paid for the car. The sales price was 9500 not 12000. Secondly when his car had a problem, even with "no warranty", our dealership was very helpful in resolving the small issues he was experiencing at no cost to him. He took the car before he purchased it and had it checked out by some outside source and felt comfortable enough to purchase the car. There are some things that cannot be addressed when a person buys or sells a used car with over 100k miles on it. For example when Honda puts out a service bulletin that states there was documented cases of a bolt failing on a certain model of car. The part cost 19 dollars, when it fails, who knows. Just so happens it was to one owner instead of another. By the same token if a car is driven over 1000 miles and a radiator fails, is it something a seller should know? OR Is it something that you have to think of when purchasing a usd car that things may need to be replaced on a used car and it really isn't anyone's intent that they failed. We as a dealer can only try to be of the best help as possible. Our dealership always tries to go the extra mile in these cases. Sometimes the personallities of very few of our customers are such that they are not going to be pleased by anything we do. This is one of those cases."
