Adams Awnings servicing Lady Lake, Villages

I called on James Adams -Sole owner and worker for his business Adams Awnings. He impressed me with knowledge and seemed very integral at first. I met him at a rental property just for him to see the job - pick out his fabric color and give me a bid. He seemed very knowledgeable about remaking and rehanging awnings. He prides the fact he is the “only guy” who for a little more $ -takes an existing awning and uses the frame and sews a new one not charging for the frame to be redone. (Company I am going with is doing the same thing) All I wanted was a bid. He told me my job would be very easily done. He had the sunbrella color swatches we picked the exact color... We had friendly exchanges and to my shock he would not give me a bid. I went to someone else who gave me a bid the next day, stating they’re all busy now! I still hoped for Adams bid -and contacted him asking him to please submit a bid. A week later still asked. He told my property management company that I was rushing him for his bid. I feel he wasted my time to have to meet him there, even if he makes a good product which I don’t know he is unreliable and unprofessional.
