They subcontracted some things out to another contractor. They still have not completed the project. I had more interaction with Simply Solar but I have made over 20 calls to them and they have not answered. This company is so bad I don't know how to give them anything but an F. They did the installation improperly and did a clear violation of the electric company by actually cutting into the utility box and breaking the seal, which they weren't supposed to do. Really, everything was done in a very poor fashion. The quality of the materials was very high as I was told by the utilities inspector. However it is not worth anything to me because I have been paying for this plus I have been paying for my full utility bills because the system is not operational. Simply Solar is the one who hired by the subcontractor. Even though they installed a high quality system, which I paid for. I thought their price was quite a bit too high. The installation did not pass the inspection and the follow up has been denied, I have not had any follow up services from them. When I initially signed the contract they were out here getting everything ready and all of the three major services that I had done within three days. Nothing has been completed. At first they were contacting me saying they were coming. After sometime in mid-March they showed up at random times. There was no information as to when they would be here, but they never notified me of any time. They were supposed to install a pan below the hot water heater and they never did so they basically gave me a $100 rebate for that. Of course I spent $350 repairing the pipes after they caused some vibrations. Of course, the pipes were old anyway so I can't blame them for that. I am not going to blame them that I had quite a large repair bill from the plumbing company. Of course, the service that was supposed to have been done was not. There was another gentleman here who was supposed to install a new timer, but he had trouble installing the timer where it was supposed to have been installed so he installed the timer in a secondary location -- the timer wasn't even bad -- he installed it there instead. He also installed a solar fan on the roof for cooling the attic and did a very good job for that. They failed to tighten several of the screws on the solar panels during the installation. These were found by the utility company inspector who tightened them for me so that was not installed well. They ran the wiring down and just laid the wiring on the floor of the attic in which case it was supposed to have been hung by some brackets -- they did not do that. They were supposed to connect to my breaker panel inside the garage yet they ran the wiring directly out, cut the lock for the utility box and installed the wiring directly to the utility box, which is against all the Osceola County regulations so that is one of the things that has to be repaired. The person that installed the pool pump did an excellent job with that so even though it was something where I did not get any warranty information or any information on what the product actually was. Installation was good, but to me was incomplete because there was some information that I should have been given where I could fill out warranty information for this which I wasn't given. The main thing right now -- I've given up on about everything else -- the solar panels and the connection from the solar panels to the breaker box which has now been complete.
