$90
Well, once I received the bill...I was a little miffed...$90 "replace pool light bulb and gasket"...well, this seemed a bit steep and I did not see where the (then $40 now $55 fee was applied to the bill).. and I also know for a fact that the gasket was not replaced...so I emailed and asked for clarification.  Below is their speedy response:

I have read your email, and have investigated this matter. The original request from yourself related to a pool light being out, and as your were informed our standard call out/troubleshoot figure for that sort of fault is $55.00 not $ 40.00 (so I don't know where you got that figure) the fault was two fold when our service technician checked it out, and as you say it was a loose wire and also a pool bulb. Our call out cost of $ 55.00 was absorbed into the pool light bulb change charge of $ 90.00, which as you will appreciate includes the travel time to and from your home, the gas and mileage on the van, insurance, parts, administration, and tax, so the six minutes is not a true reflection of the total time spent dealing with this particular repair.(the computer description of the light bulb change is an automatic description raised when the data is inputted)I hope that the explanation I have provided above, satisfactorily answers your query, and I look forward to receiving your remittance in due course.

So, I paid the $90. Obviously I owe them something... It's only $90 and it could have much worse if it was the transformer....But, no matter how you slice it...unless these folks are just down right liars...the total cost would be $145 to tighten a wire nut and replace a bulb....less the $55 call out charge for a total of $90 remaining...OR, and this is another possibility...the Cost of repair was $35 dollars + the $55 call out fee for a total of $90...which, I guess is a bit easier to swallow.  In any event, and I have been in business on my own for many, many years...Charge me the $55 call out free, charge me for the light bulb...($16) and call it a day.  Oh well, this is Florida, and there is always stuff going wrong with a pool...I'll not be calling Kissimmee Pools for any more repairs...heaven only knows what it would cost to fix a pump...I'd probably have to sell a kidney.  If you read my other reviews here...I'm not a difficult person, I'm not hard to please...and I understand everyone has to eat....but this was just wrong....and they obviously don't care.
