Our home was left in shambles (not livable) for over 5 weeks by the previous "contractor" who turned out to be a total flop: no license, no true experience in the scope of project we were doing. We were scrambling trying to find someone to help us with the mess we were left with. We contacted Mr. Martin Lecina, who came out to take a look at the house immediately and gave us a very reasonable quote within a day. We decided to take a chance and hire Mr. Lecina and his crew based on the professionalism and knowledge he exhibited at the initial meeting. To our delight, they started the project the very next week as promised. Unlike the previous horrendous experience we've had, Mr. Martin kept the communication line open 24/7, and ALWAYS kept his words. Despite the fact that it rained HEAVILY for 2+ weeks straight from the very beginning of the project (all exterior work: windows, sidings, stucco repair, wood repair, painting of entire exterior), Mr. Lecina's crew showed up bright and early every single day, and worked non-stop until each day's work was completed. They were very courteous, knowledgeable and skillful. The crew cleaned up and were very respectful to our home, which we greatly appreciated (stark contrast from our previous experience). The quality of their work is top-notch! Very meticulous and truly had the homeowners best interest at heart. The entire project was finished within the time frame as promised by Mr. Lecina. Mr. Lecina and his crew were a Godsend to us; they rescued us from a total nightmare. It is so rare to come by an HONEST and knowledgeable contractor nowadays, and we felt like we hit the jackpot with Mr. Lecina's company. We cannot say enough great things about General Constructions of Orlando. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!!!

Mr. Martin Lacina and his work crew and Juan Holguin his on cite manager, made a commitment to do General work which included Electrical work painting & staining. Minor plumbing baseboards, crown molding and installing new floors. Plus various other project that came up... I can't say enough about how well they worked and cleaned up each day before they left for the day.. They are hard working and my number one factor That I truly cared about was the communication. Bravo!!!! Bravo!!!!! I will use them again and again....

I have had horrendous experience with some contractors I have hired on homeadvisor.com. However, these guys are part of the exceptions. Their service was exceptional. They showed up on time every day as promised and they did an attractive and high quality job. I can say that this is the first time I am 100% satisfied with contractors hired on this site. They did an impeccable job for a reasonable price. I would hire them again and I highly recommend them.

Amazing company. Martin showed up the next day to give me estimates and a quote, they started within a week and were finished within 3 days. Also hung a light fixture and a ceiling fan outside for us and did a great job. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! I will use them for any future general contractor needs at my house.

I am completely satisfied with the workers and management at General Construction! They were always on time and very professional. When the prep work for painting started on my house it was discovered that some major repair work needed to be done to my front porch. General construction quoted me an excellent price to repair the front porch and began construction the next day. The painting looks great and they added a lot of detail and character to my 1937 bungalow. I would recommend this company to everyone, in fact general construction just began painting my neighbors has this week!

I had a fantastic experience dealing with Martin Lencina, the owner of General Construction. He was prompt in returning my calls and very knowledgeable. I hired his company to install lights, remove and dispose of the existing carpets, install laminate flooring, paint all walls, ceilings and doors. His rate was reasonable and he completed the job on time. I was unable to check in on the work as it was being completed, but he ensured everything was completed before my arrival. I will most definitely use General Construction in the future and recommend this company to other people who are interested in renovating their homes.
