I had an estimate from a franchise company. Then Derek from Capstone came and inspected the attic but was not able get inside all the way. He returned 2 days later to cut pieceof wood that was blocking his entry. The other company was little cheaper but i decided to go with Capstone because he did a thorough inspection and I realized he knew what he was doing. He kept me informed about the date. Two guys showed up on time and knew exactly what they had to do. Nate and Josue got zo work. They were ery helpful and cooperative. They vacumed all the all onsulation. They returned next day , checked the pressure for leaks. They swaled all air spaces lĺinstalled new insulation. Cleaned up ,showed is video and photos. Grest job Nare and Josue,thank you a ll.

The guys showed up on time both days. They explained the process step by step and answered any questions I had. They were very flexible with schedule once I ran into electrical issues in the middle of the project.

Replaced 30 year old rolled insulation covering the metal ductwork on our AC system which is located under our house. They provided video from the hard to reach crawl space that showed the problem areas that needed repair. They fully explained the suggested problem solving approach. They also undertook additional improvemzents to the metal areas prior to installing the insulationâ ¦.work was completed on schedule and at a very competitive price.

DERIK, Raul and sons are a great team. Derek did an excellent presentation on the two different types of insulation and pros and cons. I had the full ceiling blown and door test with excellent results. They took care of all clean up and I well pleased with work ethic and professionalism. Thanks job well done.

This work was performed in Groveland, FL, 34736. Capstone Insulation was great. The VP came out, went through the attic, and described the work to be done. This included thermal imaging to find air transfer locations, air sealing between the attic and living spaces, installing baffles over the inside soffit vents, installing and air sealing recessed lighting covers (for fire safety), installing new insulation, and pre- and post-insulation air flow testing. The installation crew was very competent and friendly. They performed the initial air flow test and all the pre-insulation work on day 1. They came back the next day to install the insulation and perform the final air flow test. The VP provided me with a video of the Day 1 work and a video of the final outcome. All of this work was done at a price point that I thought was reasonable (about $2/sq. ft.).

Everyone was very pleasant to work with and they did a great job. I appreciated the thorough initial inspection and the air flow checks before and after insulation.

Not only did a great job adding insulation to my attic and sealing around vents, they did a blower door test that was very helpful to find where my house was leaking. He then gave advice on cheap and easy ways to seal leaks around windows and my sliding doors. Guys were very polite and professional. Would highly recommend!

Great company

On time and thorough. They provided me with before and after tech readings to show proof of 20% better energy efficiency. It was amazing! Should pay for itself and proved less wear and tear on my A/C. I would recommend them to anyone!

I had the best experience with Derek. He was very professional from the start. I shared with Derek the work I wanted done. First, to remove the old attic insulation, next seal openings, then put new insulation. At the in home consultation he inspected my attic by video taping it and shared the video of the work he recommended. Pretty cool. It as easy to follow along. First, the old insulation did not need replacement because there was no mold or any kind of animal droppings or thankfully dead animal of any kind. He gave the R value for the different areas of my house that needed to be raised. One of the bedrooms had no insulation at all!! It was just drywall!! He also showed areas that needed to be sealed in order to prevent loss of heat/cool air. Donâ  t skip this! Itâ  s worth the extra $. You end up getting it back in energy savings. I had already seen a few YouTube videos on the importance of sealing so I did not need convincing. On the day of installation Derek was punctual!! I had set the whole day aside so I was not in a hurry. He complete a blower door test before starting work. This gives you an indication of how air tight your house is. He also completed the test at the end. He spent time educating us and shared additional tips to improve the energy efficiency of our home. he is saving us thousands of dollars because we had been considering replacing all of our windows. Turns out only one has to be replaced! We are extremely happy with his service and quality of work. We will checking our energy bill every month and comparing it to last yearâ  s. Super excited. I had received two other quotes. The first quote only included adding insulation even though I had asked for â  sealingâ  . The second quote included everything however the guy canceled then failed to show up on the rescheduled date. Even though I had to wait a couple of weeks longer. I am grateful the second guy was a no-show.

I purchased a home that was built in 1969. The insulation looked to be the original roll type insulation and was completely worn out. Derek Watt of Capstone Insulation came to my home and performed an inspection of the attic space. He made a video of his inspection and sat down with me to review his findings (loose AC connections, ceiling openings that needed to be sealed with foam, cam lights etc). Derek's price to do my job was less than other estimates Within couple of days, the job was done. Derek and his crew performed an air pressure check of the home's interior before and after completing the job. What a difference in the measurements before and after. I highly recommend Capstone Insulation for your insulation needs. They are professional, courteous, and on-time. Oh, and they also clean up their mess.

Installers and owner were very professional and bent over backwards to be helpful.. Tested house for efficiency before and after sealing all pipes and cam lights in attic and then blowing in insulation. It was refreshing to work with an owner of his own business and not some large company.
