Jim came out on a Saturday. Very polite and processional. Fix the problem.

Jim responded immediately to my phone call.  He identified the problem, was able to locate the motor that we needed, and had it installed and up and running very quickly.  In performing the work, he was both friendly and professional and explained exactly what he was doing which I appreciated.  American Home Appliance Repair will be the only company I call for any future repair work on any of our appliances.

He said parts needed to be ordered.  During the one month of waiting he didn't return one phone call regarding what was taking so long.  I called kitchen aid and they couldn't understand what the hold up was.  After one  month a new company was sent by the warranty company and the microwave was fixed within a week. The new company did not use the same parts that American said were needed.  Would never use American Home Appliance Repair again.

.. They pulled unit out and found the leak in a large valve. Had to order part as it is a high in washing machine. After getting new factory part it was installed it works like new plus they cheched the whole machine for any other problems.

I have not heard from him in the last 2 weeks. I called him last night and left message on his answering machine. He did not call me back.

They called before they came it was about 8PM when they arrived.
The problem was that a tv dinner was stuck under the door so it could not close and seal properly.
They just charged me the basic fee.
I will use them again for dryer duct cleaning.

He was a man of few words, but the service was effective enough

Jim Clement and American Home Appliance Repair is my "go to" vendor for not only my own home but for the homes we have under management. He is prompt, courteous and fair in this pricing.

He came and checked two appliances. Gave estimate on ice maker and said he would call next day with price to fix convection microwave. He seemed like a nice guy but never bothered to call back and instead pocketed money which is supposed to be applied to repair and disappeared. I bought new instead and wasted $55.00

They initially tried to solve the issue over the problem, without making me have to have them out for a service call. I liked that they tried to solve the issue without any expense. I did end up having to have them out.

Every time I have an appliance problem, I always call Jim. He has repaired just about every appliance in my home. The only exceptions are the times Jim has told me they just weren't worth repairing. He can repair anything, but he is honest and will let you know when it is better to repair or to replace. He has fixed my washer, my dryer, replaced the elements on my Jenn Air electric grill, replaced my over-the-stove microwave door handle (that broke off), and probably other things I can't think of, too. I have been using Jim for appliance repair for 8 years. He services both Orange and Osceola counties.
