We have been a customer of Ace for years and spent thousands of dollars on two brand new air-conditioning units for our house. One of our units has a control board that no longer works and for over a month we have had no air-conditioning. That part has been on backorder, and I am being told that there is no other alternative that we will have to wait with no air-conditioning until that part is in and they have no idea when that part is coming in. I asked him for a back up plan or an alternative solution or for a manager to call me and nobody has had the decency to do that besides Ashley, who’s been great, but unfortunately cannot tell me any other information. I have an 86-year-old elderly father who lives with me who literally has no air-conditioning and may continue to have no air conditioning for the next six months or however, long, it will take for this part to get in that nobody seems to know. This is completely unacceptable and unprofessional!!!! Very disappointed!!!!!

***CAUTION*** Very disappointed experience. Called them for a quote to install a new A/C unit. Brian gave me the price of $19,734 for a Daikin Fit. I contacted another bidder from Angie’s list and the quote was for $11,550.

Terrible. I asked them to send 2 guys to replace a sink. They made the appointment and never showed. Later that day they texted and said they didn’t have 2 guys that day. They rescheduled again for 2 guys. Showed up with one guy and canceled again because they said they needed 2 guys.

I originally thought this team did a good job installing my new AC unit and new duct work (which they told me I needed), but they've failed final inspection twice, and I'm forced to be harassing them on a daily basis trying to get someone, anyone to call me back with information. They will not put you in as a priority for scheduling even if they've made a mistake, which my first failed inspection had multiple, multiple issues. The second failed inspection still had 2 issues wrong. They do not care that they put you through stress to get the job completed. My issues with them still aren't resolved, and it's not looking very positive. There has been more than one lady on the phone that has given me extreme attitude when trying to get information about when they are going to fix the issues. I would give them a zero if I could. DO NOT USE THEM.

They did an excellent job!! Whenever I need them, I just call them up and they come out very promptly. They are very professional, clean up very well and give you tips on like how to flush the water out. I highly recommend them to others. I have them on my speed dial.

I got a few estimates for the unit to be replaced when the blower died along with some supply/return duct work due to incorrect sizing. Ace Solves It All was actually my highest estimate, but they were a WFTV Home & Garden Local Expert (which they no longer are) and I felt they were walking me through everything not just trying to sell me something. With the $300 tax credit and $200 rebate, the price was better. I was originally told on a Saturday with the estimate the work would be done on Monday… after agreeing to the estimate they wouldn’t complete the work until Tuesday. Thankfully the weather was in the low 80s. The crew was punctual (I was the 1st appointment) and friendly. After they left, I started questioning some things that were done. Ace sent a specialist out and this lead to the crew coming out a 2nd day to correct some of the work that was done. (I missed 2 days of work for all of this…) The original unit had a whole home A/C system added (by the previous owner). The sales rep told me they would reuse this system/filter. They ended up taking it with the old unit and it was a back-and-forth hassle to get MY filter system returned. Another issue was that I already had my thermostat upgraded to the Nest. I asked the sales rep if a discount was applied for not needing a new thermostat and he told me it was. I found out after that this was a lie. I was charged for the standard thermostat that comes with the new units and Ace continually ignores my emails regarding this matter (it’s been 5 months since my unit was installed and they continue to ignore my email inquiries about it). I was originally told that they would take care of the rebate. After 3 months of asking about the rebate status and being told they would “check on it”, I got ahold of someone on the phone who told me that initiating the rebate was MY responsibility. 5 months since the unit was installed, and I’m still fighting to get my rebate. I had to fight with back-and-forth just to get a copy of my 10 year parts & labor warranty paperwork I paid extra for. On top of this, I had to check in with them for my inspection to close the permit... this is a 90 day limit and I started questioning them when there was only 30 days left and nothing has been arranged! I received a 2 year maintenance with the unit install. They have 1 ½ years to get back on my good side, but I’m currently waiting on my 3rd attempt at my 1st tune-up appointment because they can’t seem to keep their technicians on schedule. I agree with the previous review… the technicians are excellent, but their customer service and sales are atrocious!

Came out in late October and gave me an estimate that was no exaggeration 10 times higher in their estimate than another company. 5 months later they started calling me every other day to see if I was going to accept their estimate and ask why I wasn't. They were incorrect in their perceptions of my issues. Their website looks really polished but and their staff looks nice but their customer service isn't where it should be in following up.

I didn't price-shop; I just had it done. The pricing, I think, is right in line. I would absolutely use them again. It took them a day to complete the job. The workers were excellent. The area was in great shape when they left.

Plumber who came at first used my tools and then went in truck to get his. After much difficulty, it was really stuck, he got it out and put new one in. I paid @ $160 in cash. He said he would email receipt but to the best of my knowledge I never got it. Two weeks later we had a steady drip that we could stop but had to manipulate the handle. After some more time we could not stop the drip. My wife wanted to ge a new sink so Lowes got ahold of another plumber and to make a long story short he fixed the leak and said the previous plumber had left a small piece of rubber in the innards and that had caused the drip

I think this is the worst experience I have ever had with a company. I was supposed to get a 10% rebate from Costco and $150 rebate from Florida Power and Light. ACE Solves it All never filed for these nor arranged for the inspector to come. I even called and was told the rebates were filed and they have arranged for inspection "multiple times". Also there was a 7% discount off price if I paid in full at time of installation. This was a outright lie - sales guy said we couldn't get that after the fact, said, "I discussed this with your husband". Really?! System also wasn't draining properly after installation and they had to come back at least 4 times. Twice they replaced drain pipe, finally added external pump. The technicians were all very good, but customer service and sales are dreadful. I complained to Costco in mid-October, they are still trying to work with this company. Two months have gone by... still no rebates, no inspector...

The company refuses to apply for my Costco cash card and refuses to apply to Duke Energy for my energy credit, which they are suppose to as being a Costco vender. The Costco cash card is 10% of the price, which is $2230 and an $800 Duke Energy credit. That’s over a $3000 loss. DON’T DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY BECAUSE THERE ARE PLENTY OF RELIABLE COMPANIES TO CHOOSE FROM.

Manny is the only plumber that they have on staff so he is kept very busy. He was very knowledgeable about fixing the problem and very professional in his manner. I would definitely hire him again.

Horrible. He replaced the filter and tried to sell us a new air compressor. Another company found out that the grounding wires for the hearing element were exposed and turning on, thus hearing up the cooled air and reversing the air conditioner. Instead of replacing the entire air compressor, the other company replaced the exposed wires and flushed the drain pipe. This fixed the problem for a fraction of the cost. It is clear that Ace Solves It All should be called Ace Sells It All.

Prompt response to our first call. The tech clearly explained the condition of out aging AC. He made recommendations based on a solution instead of a product and worked with us to find a viable solution that was within our budget. The workmanship is first rate, and the crew who showed up to resolve our problem was professional and efficient. I had a knowledgeable friend check things out and he was impressed. Another indication of how professional ACE is, is I received emails prior to each visit with photos and names of the techs scheduled to arrived, and the date of their last background check. All-in-all, a class act and a company I recommend without hesitation.

The repair went seemingly well, I haven't been back to the house to check for leaks or if the meter is spinning. But what I will tell you is that they were referred to me by Leak Doctor because they said they were too busy, that was mistake number one, calling Leak Doctor. I should have just looked up someone myself, but that's a whole other story. The problem I have with Ace Solves It All is the price point for the work done, and they do warn you up front that they are a "premium service" which I still can't figure out what that means in regards to cutting a piece of PVC pipe and gluing it into place. In any event, I paid them over $700 for about an hour in labor, the part was less than $5. They were going to charge me $65 anyway for just coming out to tell me it was going to be expensive, and if I called another plumber, it would have been another service fee and who knows what he would have charged, so you can see the dilemma. The bottom line is the problem was fixed but at an extremely high cost. This problem should have been $300 at the most, but like an idiot in distress I agreed to have him fix it, regretfully. I know the company is going to say " you didn't have to accept the fee", true, but you also didn't have to gouge me in a time of duress, which it truly was. I'll end by saying plenty of other reviewers have said the same thing about this company so I am not alone. If I had been thinking clearly that day I would have read the reviews before calling them, but I didn't. So this review serves more as a warning that if you call Ace Solves It All it comes at least double the normal price for a "non premium service" contractor. After he was done I asked my litmus test of how much they would charge me to snake a clean out line, and to my shock he said $400! That's right folks, $400 just to snake out a line that takes 15 minutes, that is the probably the highest price you'll find in the country in my opinion. My ratings star wise will be all over the place because I had no problem with the service, it was purely cost, so factor my mid rating as part of the overall experience of feeling taken for a ride after the repair.

Upon arrival, the first thing the technician wanted to do was look at other unrelated items.  He looked at my water heater and told me it needs to be replaced based on  its age of 10 years.  He looked at the hoses to my washer and determined they needed to be replaced because they were rubber.  He then inspected the bathroom and toilet area where I wanted grab bars.  I said I wanted one 18" or 24" grab bar and two "hand" grab bars in the shower and two 18" or 14" grab bars in the toilet room.  I also asked for an estimate fo rthe water heater for possible replacement in the future.  He then took a few minutes to write up an estimate.

The first estimate of $1,439 (yes, that number is correct) was for three 36" grab bars and two "hand" grab bars including installation. He also included an estimate for a new water heater of $1,643.   I informed the technician that 36" bars were too long.  I got a tape measure and showed him that bars of that length would not fit in either the shower or toilet room.  He then went away for a few minutes and came back with a new estimate.

The second estimate, with three 24" grab bars and two "hand" grab bars was for $1,378.15.  But, because I was a repeat customer, I would get a "deal" for a total of $1,067.  I said I thought that was too high and I would get other bids.  I had no idea what the cost should be.  The technician then asked me to sign a form on his computer tablet for performing the estimate.  There was no charge for the estimate, but the form he wanted me to sign stated I was authorizing  Ace Solves it All to proceed with  the work as estimated.  Needless to say, I refused to sign.

I then contacted other handymen and got an estimate of $175 for the job if I provided the grab bars.  I bought the five bars on Amazon for a total of $155.  The entire job wound up costing  $330.

I feel Ace Solves it All was trying to cheat me because of my ignorance of the actual cost and my urgent need to get the grab bars installed before my wife was release from the hospital.  I will never call them again for any kind of work.

Cosme and Mauricio showed up 15 minutes early for the appointment.  Cosme walked through the house to verify the number of vents that they would be cleaning.  He was friendly and professional and attentive to details.  He made sure everything was moved back in place as he finished and any debris was cleaned up.
