I brought in a 18" Homelite Chainsaw which ran. I was requesting they check why the chain didn't move freely on the bar. I assumed it was the clutch. I also wanted the primer bulb replaced and the pull rope repaired. I was called two weeks later stating it would be $150 to repair due to the carburetor needing replaced. I payed the $37.45 for them to look at the saw and picked up. The diagnosed carburetor didn't sit well with me so I went home repaired the pull cord. Which since they didn't repair proves they didn't even try to start. The saw cranked on second pull. I returned with saw and owner argued with me and wouldn't return the fee for them looking at it. I guess the charge for looking at your equipment should be taken literally. The get $37.45 for looking at equipment not actually touching it. Moral of this instance is this business tries to sell parts and services that are not required for the repair. Hopefully they change their ways or it catches up and they are forced to close the doors.
