I tried to hire American Gutter Inc to repair a gutter and clean the downspouts. I was told it would be a few days before someone would be able to make it out to give me an estimate. The first week goes by and I hear nothing. I call and they say the estimate will happen in a couple days. Second week, same situation. I call again and was told someone will be out the next day. The person finally showed as there was a card on my door when I got home. I did not hear anything from this company for over a week. I call again. The rep says they are waiting on the person who did the inspection to write up his estimate, I will have it in my email in a couple days. Three weeks after the initial phone call, one week after the inspection, still nothing. I call...again. The rep gives the same excuse as before, still waiting on the inspection to be written up. One more week goes by, I call...again. The rep says he has the estimate in his hand and will email it immediately. Its now been over a month and that was the last I have heard from American Gutter Inc. I am done calling...again. I will give my money to a business that won't waste over a month of my time and has the decency to actually follow up with their would be customers. I suggest you do the same.

The job was done very well and as promised. The employees were polite and cleaned up after the job. Several weeks after the job I called and asked for a quote to extend 2 of the downspouts out past my flower beds. The President of the company came out and offered to extend the one and actually re-work the other one so it completely missed my flower beds. When I asked how much it would cost, he said we will cover it. This was awesome customer service and beyond what I had hoped for. They came out the next day and did just what he said they would, at no additional cost to me. In this day and age it is very hard to find a company that will simply do what they promise, it is so refreshing and nice to find a company that does more than what they promised. I highly recommend this company if you have any guttering needs.

The estimator was professional and gave a reasonable price. The staff doing the work were on time, fast and cleaned up really well after they finished.

Called in request for estimate over a week ago. Was never told that the wait could be up to 3 weeks. I called back a week later and told that they could get someone out, just to quote, this week or maybe next week. Communication is the most important at the beginning stages. Hope others have better experience. As a customer you should never feel overlooked. Thank you for your time.

It didn't. Like so much on Angies list it was incorrect, These nice people don't do stucco work. That's what I typed in but when they called me they said they only do gutter work. Nice people but Angies list is incorrect again

Excellent work with no problems. The team also hooked up the three rain barrels I had without extra charge.

They did a great job. Came back and even did a little touch up work very nice crew.

A very professional job. They made a few mistakes but these were immediately corrected with apologies.

My experience was fine. They cleaned my gutters. It took awhile, but they came to do it. It took a month to be able to mainly do them and get them out here. When they did get out here they did a great job. When we finally got him out here, when he came out he did a wonderful job. I had no complaints. Overall, good. It was $99.

Excellent work. Only complaint is something I'm still working on contacting them about. Just a small overlap in the install by the front of the house causing a drip onto the front porch. I'm sure they'll get to it when I contact them. Price was right in the ball park of what I was looking for and that included the underground drainage - which was suggested during my initial contact. It's rained quite a bit since the install and I've had no issues with leaks (other than that front porch item) and the disbursement of the water from the downspouts to the drainage areas is outstanding - no standing water! Caution - the underground drainage containers could use better drainage themselves as they do retain about 1/2" of water, which may lead to mosquitos. I've used a cap of bleach in each after a major rain - it's working to keep the flying pests at bay!

They were just thorough and timely. Nothing that they need to improve of. The work was done less than an day. Thirty minutes to maybe an hour.

Alright could have made some recommendations for better looking job

The job went very well... even when they found some wood rot issues. The team of 5 guys that came knew what they were doing and worked together smoothly. Will definitely use again if needed and will definitely recommend to others. Thank you

Quality of install very good. Crew did not show on originally scheduled day and did not call to let me know they needed to re-schedule. Could not get vendor to send me a receipt for services for tax purposes

It went OK, nothing bad. I think the materials were very good, the workmanship varied depending on which person was working. While I think they did an OK job, I was not impressed by their standards, some people seemed very hard working others seemed a bit more slack. I think I would try someone else next time to see if I could find a someone who gave me more confidence.

While the gutter installation went ok, they left a lot of nails etc. all over our property including in the driveway, and that resulted in me getting a flat tire that could not be repaired. So we had to get a new tire. The cost for that was $157. When I called to tell them about it, they completely dismissed me and said, I could have gotten the nail anywhere. That wasn't true, because it happened the next time I pulled my car out of the garage, and I was still in my own driveway! Besides...it was a nail from the gutters.

Terrific job! These people were first class professionals! They did a terrific job, were totally professional and my home looks like new!

After contacting 4 local gutter companies and getting 3 quotes, I decided to go with American Gutter--and I was not disappointed. American Gutter was the only company that drew a detailed map of our house, indicating where gutters, downspouts, and splash guards would be placed. This company was also the only one to recommend (and rightly so) to install a small gutter section on the second story where it was needed. Moreover, American Gutter noticed that we needed some soffit repair and provided a reasonable estimate. In contrast to the other gutter companies, American Gutter was able to do the job shortly after we got the quote (within 1-2 weeks). Overall, I would HIGHLY recommend American Gutter. They were highly professional all the way around, from initial contact, the quote, the job, and commitment to continued customer satisfaction.

I am very happy with the service provided by this company. They were booked up pretty far in advance when I got the estimate and the work was scheduled more than a month going forward. I dinged them slightly on punctuality because they didn't come the week scheduled, but to be fair, with all the rain we have been having, the delay is understandable. When they showed up on the date we had rescheduled they had to reschedule for the following week because it was pouring down rain. Throughout the process they were responsive and effectively communicated the need for rescheduling until the work was completed. I give them a very high rating.and will use them again without thinking twice about it.

This poor crew was plagued by unrelenting rain so the first day they got all the down spout bottoms placed where they would be needed and made measurements and other preparations. After a couple of hours the weather was so bad they had to secure but promptly returned the following day and completed the entire project! The gutters look as though they were created to match our residence. The screening looks great, too. The work was completed by the middle of the afternoon and the debris all cleaned up. The four members of this crew were polite, friendly and very efficient.
