PARADISE TRANSMISSION SVC

It took a few days for the parts to come in but the work was done well. Paradise Transmission was recommended to me by a "Conch" .  Bob, the owner, is a trustworthy guy and does the best to give you a good estimate.

all went well they find the problem and call t o let you know what is happening and wha the cost will be.  for an older europen car only place to go,pretty expensive, but wouldnt take american car there have been using Niles for my pontiac they seem ok

A friend who owned a diesel pickup truck was helping me move and I noticed the truck was out of gas.  By mistake, I filled it up with regular unleaded gas instead of diesel, and the truck started stalling after driving it only a few miles.  I realized my mistake and called another friend, who recommended I call Paradise.   I was panicked, but Dan at Paradise was very sympathetic and told me what to do to fix the problem even before I decided to bring the truck in for service.  A friend siphoned the gas out of the truck and replaced it with the correct fuel, then I took the truck to Paradise where Dan had already ordered new fuel filters.  Even though he and his co-worker were very busy, they dropped what they were doing to help me out with what I considered to be an emergency.  Dan's  co-worker replaced the filters and flushed out the fuel lines while I waited.  It took less than an hour and the truck was as good as new.  The  cost was very reasonable and I was very happy that I did not have to buy a new engine for my friend's truck.  The best part was that even though I had made a very stupid mistake no one said so, they just fixed it very quickly and professionally.

When I took it in, they didn't seemed to be at all interested in the history of the problem or the current state of other issues with the truck.  When I talked to the young man working on it, I asked that they show me the computer when I got the truck.  That didn't happen.  When I asked about possibly working on the dead cylinder, they said they hadn't even bothered checking the compression or the cylinder, they "just focused on getting it running".  It may be exactly like they said, but I don't have a warm and fuzzy.  They made no attempt to tie together the multiple problems I'm having.  They didn't explain AND/OR show me the problem.  They didn't check the other issues I mentioned.  And now I'm fighting an old problem I thought I had fixed.
